Does anyone else have a bra purse?

Just been to the post office to post something and when I needed to pay, I promptly fished my bank card out of my bra. The lady laughed and admitted she had a bra purse too. Since lockdown, I just don't carry a bag or a purse anywhere! Some days, I have my phone, house keys, bank card and a poo bag in there! Is it just me?

During the 90s I used to store £5 taxi money in that little pocket in the side of wonderbras. Useful.

My boobs take up all of my bra. If you can fit loads of other stuff in your bra it can't fit properly. I keep my debit card, credit card in my phone case and it has a little zip pocket on it which I keep a £1 coin for a supermarket trolley and twenty pound note for emergencies.

As an ex-retail worker I can confirm that a surprising amount of women do this, and contactless or not, retail workers think it's grim.

I sometimes slip a tissue or tampon in there. Used to use it for my phone until I got a bigger phone. Keys might hurt. I have large enveloping breasts so you'd never know.

I always put stuff in my bra.

Its usually my keys or tissues and then I carry my phone with my card in in my hand.

I hate taking a handbag around when I’ve only just got my keys and phone in.

I used to put my phone in my bra but I was listening to music and it got hot and burnt my skin and so I haven’t since then.

I will sometimes put cash in but I don’t usually have cash.
I’ve never put my card in though, as I’m afraid of snapping it.

All of the posters being precious about it being next to your skin are forgetting that your hands are the dirtiest part of your body.

People handing things over after they’ve been to the toilet, masturbated, sneezed, coughed and touched multiple surfaces etc without washing their hands, are way more grim than the skin on your boobs.

Most people wash their hands way more often than their boobs or anywhere else on their body.

Most, not all people wash their hands multiple times a day and wash their boots and body once a day or less.

Retail and the service industry is difficult enough without having to watch customers rummage in their sweaty bra to pay for things.

You clearly don't care of it makes others feel uncomfortable or disgusted but you should.

Where is this stuff sitting? Under your boob in the bottom of the cup? At the front between your nipple and the cup? Between your boots? Or is it under the straps?

I can't see any option that would actually feel like the item wasn't going to fall out and was comfortable.

This thread has made me laugh. I put phone keys and card in my bra. My boobs aren't actually gross and I don't expect anyone else to hold those items, especially not my bank card!

That’s because the hands are what picks up most of their germs.

If the rest of your body picked up germs the same rate as our hands then we would obviously wash it more often.

So unless someone has used hand sanitiser just as they’re handing the money over (if the money has also been sanitised) then you’re boobs are going to be much more sanitary and have a lot less germs than your hands.

I have to refer you to the MANY threads where women proudly explain that they don't even wash their bras after one, or two wear, because they are "bras".

Bras are one of the most disgusting garment 😂, people seem to wash their jeans more often than they wash their underwear!

Me too really. I tried with my phone and there is no way that it doesn't look like I've got a phone hanging out of my bra. Keys, I can't imagine any way that would be comfortable. Even a tampon would make it look like one boob was bigger than the other and weirdly shaped.

OK - you might not have to hand your card over, but I still think it's classless. And women who hold cash in their bras need to consider the unpleasantness of this for the poor recipient.

I would not want to have my radiation-emitting phone next to my boobs either.

And, people that do this need to get a better-fitting bra!

It is disgusting. And it does effect other people.

Usually women with some sort of vest top on, with bra very visibly on show with bits hanging out the bra. Ive seen it. Dont want to see it.

Nope.

Have you not heard of ringworm, impetigo or scabies? They're nothing to do with germs but are skin infections/parasites passed on by skin cells.

Someone could have clean hands but pass them on with a gross bra card. And they erroneously think like you, that it's fine as hands are more dirty

Stop being gross and stop trying to justify your disgusting habits by saying 'what about ..'

It's disgusting, stop making excuses. There is no need for you to store stuff in your underwear and expect people to not be grossed out by it.
