Any dog lovers here?

I often see posts here about the "too much dogs" thing. And I completely understand that some people are not into dogs 😊
But I am curious if there are people like me who adore dogs? It makes me happy to see them everywhere! In my perfect world everyone would have a dog and dogs would be just everywhere. I never mind getting dirty by a jumping dog or barks or anything like that. It just makes me happy 😊
I came to UK from France not such a long time ago (yes, it is the reason why my English sucks) and I see much more dogs here, than in my place and I just cannot stop smiling each time there is a dog close to me, so actually I am smiling nonstop here 😁

I adore dogs. Seeing them always makes me happy. I’m a responsible dog owner though, I respect others feelings and he’s fine to be left at home whilst I have a life (he also gets lots of lovely walks etc)

Dogs are just the most amazing creatures and infinitely better than people. Maybe I'm bias (see photos of our bestest boy 😍)

I love dogs and I have 3. I love all animals really and I'm very lucky to work with them.

HRTFT but nothing makes me happier than going to an event and there being a dog there. Dogs (well most of them) make the world a better place to be. I have a scruffy mutt of a rescue and without fail he makes me smile every day. I can't imagine life without him, even though I have a loving DH and 3 DC, he is who I spend pretty much 24/7 with.

I lost my beautiful flattie girl last week and have been heartbroken. I adore dogs and still have my gorgeous pointer boy to keep me company but would love another in the future in fact I’d have more if I could!

Much prefer dogs to people. I live in a very doggy area and not once have I had a dog chase/jump up at me. I've also only ever had people that have asked before giving mine a cuddle.
There's nothing like the validation that you get from a random strangers dog leaning into you for an (asked for) fuss made of them.

Took my ddog out today.. She was very crestfallen we passed many people and nobody stroked her! Usually dc ask if they can stroke her.. Schools being back we saw no dc... Felt so sorry for her!! I hope all this xl bad business hasn't spoilt it for the friendly ddogs!

Dogs are better than people. I mean how you could resist? My dog Maggie is the collie on the right with her friend Betty.

I think dogs should be properly trained, and if unreliable then take them to a designated dog park or keep them on the lead. And always pick up after them.
I'm happy with dogs in cafés etc. I'm not happy with yappy dogs, badly behaved ones or irresponsible owners!

I love dogs, too. They bring so much joy into our lives (well, for those of us who enjoy them!) and ask for so very little in return. They make me laugh and remind me to live in the moment and stay positive.

I agree, though, that dogs should be kept on leads in most public places, and there are certain breeds that I'd honestly rather not cross paths with.

I absolutely bloody love dogs! I've owned them nearly all my adult life - all rescues - and I work with them too.

I much prefer them (most animals actually) to most people. Unscrupulous breeders and irresponsible owners make me angry, as do people with no knowledge or experience of dogs who spout nonsense about them and malign an entire breed just because they once got growled at - more than likely for not respecting the dog's boundaries.

You can probably tell I have strong feelings about dogs... I'll shut up now 😂

Love dogs and had them all my life. Hate lazy and irresponsible owners who don't train their dogs.

I've had dogs since I was born so yes totally love them . I've only ever had and will only ever have bullies.

Obviously not getting into it now, and it's not a straightforward issue but there's so much venom and hate for all bullies (and all dogs actually) from people who probably have no knowledge of dogs let alone individual breeds.

I adore dogs, they love unconditionally and I love them all back. Probably slightly controversial on here, but I love them more than kids (I don't have any of my own). Somebody talking to me about their kid? I'll nod and smile appropriately, but I honestly couldn't care less that little Johnny has just learnt to count to three or has learnt how to feed himself. However, talk to me about your dog, and I'll listen all day. Show me photos of them and I'll be your best friend! I'll always smile and talk to dogs on the street, often before even noticing the human that's walking them, and I'm equally happy when people do the same to me when I'm walking my dog!

Yes, dog lover and in fact I love dogs more than people. I'd take my dog over pretty much any human.
