I remember finding him weirdly attractive back in the day. It's interesting to wonder why I wasn't shocked by what he said back then. I think I was shocked but as another poster said, everyone was laughing so assumed I was a prude. We were so programmed to accept the sexist shit back in the day. I clearly was incapable of the critical thinking some amazing women had to call it out even then. And when i was sexually assaulted I did the classic blaming myself. My dd will hopefully never fall for this narrative. When half of the population won't take it then it becomes rather irrelevant if most men may be similar if they could - because there will be nowhere to go with it. and i do think a decent proportion of men are truly incapable of this behaviour.
