I still fancy RB

WesterChick · 19/09/2023 23:16

I've watched the documentary.

I still fancy RB.

I identify as a radical feminist.

I'm married with kids.

I think that if you are a heterosexual woman, you are either in denial on what men are or you accept what they are but find them irresistibly sexually attractive and so continue to be with them.

RB is simply what the vast majority of men would be like if they could get away with it.

Therefore - and because he's bloody good looking, funny and intelligent - and sexy - I will continue to fancy the pants off him.

I think women who are being all shocked and descusted at his behaviour need to consider what men are actually like. There's not some massive demarcation between him and other men.

OP posts:
HRTQueen · 20/09/2023 20:26

there are lots of men many on here will probably ignore their reported behaviour David Bowie, Jimmy Page, Marlon Brando and Steve McQueen (actor) are just a few

I think you would feel differently if you actually knew him but there is a separation so there is no concern that you will experience that horrible side of his nature

WesterChick · 20/09/2023 10:31

Is there a spelling test to be admitted to radfemdom? Lol

In what way are you a radical feminist?

TicTacNicNak · 20/09/2023 20:29

Nope. All that shaggy hair and beard is revolting. Don't know why anyone would find him attractive (even if he hadn't been round the block 3 million times).

CherryMaDeara · 20/09/2023 20:33

he looked a bit like a gangly and greasy grinning horse.

Grin

OP me too.

The shock on this thread is ridiculous. He had women throwing themselves at him for so many years, he was openly crude and offensive and sex obsessed, yet he still had women flocking, he is clearly attractive to many people.
Aside from the rape allegations which are yet to be proved and he vehemently denies, everything else about him was in the public domain already. I don't feel shocked by any of it.

Some people throw themselves at anyone they perceive as powerful or with money, so in that respect he is attractive to some.

Doesn’t make him physically attractive or sexy. Loads of unattractive celebs with repugnant personalities are married and have had their fair share of women.

I find him scruffy and greasy and don’t get the physical attraction at all. Not to mention he could well have dormant STI’s 🤮

Meowandthen · 20/09/2023 20:37

You really are not a radfem.

I trust your pathetic post got you the attention you were clearly so desperately seeking.

Funny how his defenders always tack on the rapes as an 'aside'. It's never the first concern.

Messyhair321 · 20/09/2023 21:40

Allegations aren't proven at this point.

Messyhair321 · 20/09/2023 21:46

I don't know if any one of us normal people knows what it is like to live in that world, celebrity, & the expectation of being a certain way, literally living that persona because it's expected.
I just feel like there's more going on in the world than these allegations & I wish people would stop talking about it like it's the most important thing that's happening out there.

DirectionToPerfection · 20/09/2023 21:47

There is evidence. The text apologies to 'Nadia', who he raped.

Nanny0gg · 20/09/2023 21:49

pickledandpuzzled · 20/09/2023 08:54

I like the piratical look. Liked David Essex way back when, Graziano in strictly now.

If you like blond preppy types you won't like RB, it doesn't mean he isn't attractive.

He is not a patch on David Essex!
David was far more 'clean cut' pirate. Not grubby.

And will someone explain his humour? Because I don't think he's in the least bit 'witty'

That isn't evidence, that's an apology, could be related to the condom non use. That's actually what I thought when I saw the documentary.
None of us know. Let's not pretend.
It's just getting irritating that people think this is big news. It isn't. It's just opinions & people getting excited about other people's lives.
The sad fact is that no-one involved in the investigation or who have already decided what happened really cares about the truth, just their own voice. It's not helpful & it heals nothing. Just a sad reflection on an ugly part of our culture. Is the media

Are you talking about the celebs who are predatory abusers or just the decent ones?

I'm perfectly capable of being interested in what's happening with RB and at the same time being interested in much more important things tbh.

Though I expect it's very important to the women who made the allegations.

@Messyhair321

Tbh I don't think it's the investigation that's the sad reflection of an ugly part of our culture.

But I think I know who's career definitely is.

HeatherMoores · 20/09/2023 22:02

A lot of this fancying is because he’s a celebrity. If he wasn’t famous he would just be a skanky sex and drug addict who mistreats women.

WednesdayLounge · 20/09/2023 22:08

What is wrong with you?

Messyhair321 · 20/09/2023 22:08

@sunglassesonthetable no-one is going to know what really happened because the media circus has already decided what happened. That's not the truth that's a story, a one sided one that we've been fed.

Worst, they don't actually care about the truth or what actually happened. At least one of the 'investigators' is known to be wholly unreliable due to them falsely reporting & being sued by another woman.
It's not about getting justice or getting to the truth. It's about selling stories.

The way it's being handled doesn't heal anyone including the people who have made these allegations. Which by the way, aren't proven at this stage.

Messyhair321 · 20/09/2023 22:11

@sunglassesonthetable also, you've missed the point. I'm saying there's other news to be told, yet we're being fed this story, which is without merit because it's not even been investigated properly.

No, we believe women. Not men.

I'm really sick of reading your endless rape apologising. You sicken me

When coupled with the visit to the Rape Centre, the 5 months of therapy, the police being alerted - and all the resultant paper trail, it clearly is evience.

It's sad that you think the rape of multiple women by a more powerful man is not big news. This is how we bring about change.

Ididivfama · 20/09/2023 22:16

Ollifer · 20/09/2023 07:38

My partner watched the documentary and texted me to say how sickening it was. Not all men behave in this way op and it's worrying you think otherwise.

I agree. Some men are humans and believe women are humans too. And they like women to enjoy sex and not be abused. 🤷‍♀️

sunglassesonthetable · 20/09/2023 22:17

@Messyhair321

Realise it's just allegations at this stage.

I heard the interview with 'Alice' on WH. It sounded credible to me.
Not sure why someone would go to the trouble of making that up tbh.

How do you know it's not about getting justice?

It's easy to go oh media circus/selling stories/one sided etc That's ALWAYS what gets said in the initial stages of a breaking scandal.

Well RB has a voice and has refuted the claims.

🤷‍♀️ He has the money for legal clout . Let him crack on.

sunglassesonthetable · 20/09/2023 22:23

Why is this story without merit? Or not investigated properly?

And please stop with the " being fed " thing. RB's career is as much part of MSM as the next celeb.

Agreed. He's got the owner of Twitter/X and the richest man in the world on his side. RB is definitely part of the mainstream.

If RB needs help with his legal fees, Elon would probably pay them as it's pennies for him. Who is going to pay the legal fees for Alice, Nadia and the other raped women?

So if she would have been willing to have sex with a condom, but he wouldn't wear one and went ahead anyway, it wasn't rape? Is that what you're saying?

I think you need to brush up on consent.

The text said "when a girl says no it means no" and he acknowledged it and said sorry. That's pretty clear IMO.
