To think the amazon delivery man was being unreasonable

I didn't want to answer the door for a delivery, I was cooking lunch. It was a multipack of toothpaste through amazon, less than £10, so not expensive. Rather than just leaving it at the front door, the delivery man went around the back where he could see me cooking 😐

You are being completely unreasonable.
Why order something if you don't want to take the 10 or so seconds it takes for the driver to do his job and deliver the product you ordered?

Amazon gives you an up to the minute map of where your driver is, so he can't have caught you unexpectedly.

It is a ridiculous reply. You expressed some sort of dismay that your package had been placed inside the house when your door was open. If you're not sharing the experience comprehensibly then why comment at all?

So if the door hasn't been opened the delivery person should assume that the owners are having wild sex in the kitchen and not go round the back? That's, um, quite a leap.

I wish my Amazon man would do this!

Instead mine doesn't bother walking to the front porch. He puts the boxes next to the recycling bin at the end of the drive.... just where I put empty Amazon cardboard boxes to be thrown out.....
