Mumsnet acronyms you misunderstood

Not an AIBU, just posting for something light-hearted. I still read ‘STBXH’ as ‘shithead bastard ex husband’, even though I’ve subsequently worked out it means ‘soon to be ex husband’ 🤦‍♀️ Are there any MN acronyms you’ve misunderstood?

I went round giving people biscuits thinking it was a nice gesture

I know CF means cheeky fucker but in my head it’s always cunt fucker and I like to say bin cunt fuckery when it’s bin wars

I always read CF as either cystic fibrosis or cluster fuck depending on the context.

But then I wondered about the statistical probably of so many mumsnetters friends and relatives being so poorly with this one illness

Not on mumsnet but when I was pregnant with my first I joined a forum for mums due in December 2005. Loads of them were talking about having MS and I thought it was so weird that so many pregnant women in one group had multiple sclerosis. It was ages before I realised that when they said MS they meant morning sickness!

Years ago a politician was on Mumsnet doing a q&a (might have been Gordon brown) and he was asked what his favourite biscuit was. He thought it was a trap of some kind and refused to answer, so it's short hand for you're being a dick\don't be an idiot.
