Just for fun.

Mine is the woman who posted for advice about what to do about her husband who was talking to their cat really sensually. Not baby talk but like sensuous loving ”ooh your fur is so good my darling pussycat” and it gave her the absolute ick.

Every time I talk to my dog I remember her and chuckle. I wonder how she’s doing 😂

The one with the creepy music in the garden and the even creepier deletion message.

What was the deletion message? , I saw the thread at the time but didn't know it was deleted!

@Shodan - it was LaQueen (maybe LeQueen - it is years since I last saw a post from her, and I can’t remember which she used) whose husband lost a whole car - they moved house, and one of the cars was left parked outside their old house, and in all the chaos of moving, her dh forgot to go back for it. Then, a while later, he saw it for sale on a gag
rage forecourt, and found out it had been registered as abandoned, and the garage owner had assumed ownership so they could sell it. I think it was a luxury car brand like Mercedes or BMW.

That was so made up though, she just loved herself.

Sussurations · 02/09/2023 18:38

all the mentions of Balonz reminded me that I really enjoyed the thread about ‘what is Hugo short for’ (not sure the OP was real but it was very funny)

Oh my word, can anyone point the way to the property porn one? I would love to read that!

I'd love to read it again, but no idea how to find it!

DrFoxtrot · 02/09/2023 18:38

Suzi Quattro's fat nan 😂😂

Lily007 who found out her dh was cheating and just left, I don't think she ever spoke to him again. She was so classy about the whole thing, whilst being devastated. I hope her dh is a miserable shit with his horrid ow, who I believe he married a few years later.

I remember Lily007 and also MoreLegsThanMe whose husband left her too. She wrote for such a long time and then just disappeared. Really hope both ladies are ok

The stuck in the car one has just reminded me of an OP who was feeling unwell and climbed up on the kitchen counter to access her medicine cabinet or something…but then she felt too sick to climb down so called her DH and cried and was upset he wouldn’t come from work to get her down!! I think all the replies were variations of ‘just move into a sitting position and hop down!! It’s the kitchen counter!’

You couldn't make it up! 😂

WhispersOfWickedness · 02/09/2023 18:41

One which was very close to my heart was the first aibu that I was properly invested in. It was someone who was complaining about a neighbour leaving a pram in the communal hallway of their converted flats. At first everyone was telling her to suck it up, be kind to a struggling mum etc. Until the OP said the child was about 3 and posted a picture of the biggest tank-like pram in the narrowest hallway you can imagine, it blocked the whole thing 😂 Never seen a thread change opinion so fast 😁

Also, I always think of cube of poo whenever I'm at the supermarket checkout with a trolley 😁

MadCatandBirdLady · 02/09/2023 18:43

Savernake forest is the scariest.
purchaes - reality versus expectation which included suzi Quattros fat Nan and the magician velvet jacket.
snapped and farted. - for the comments.
he has eaten the fat balls very funny and the poster who said their kitchen table was sitting there like a cunt

ProjectsGalore · 02/09/2023 18:43

I loved the yoni massage thread!

Gasfire · 02/09/2023 18:44

From when I first arrived here: user name had 'bear' in it, i think. The girl who was pregnant without knowing, then gave birth on her first year of uni. Pictures of how slim she was so she didn't know etc. It went on and on and at one point she caused outrage by talking about how she and bf had sex under a blanket, while dd played.

And then turned out to be a big troll.

DysmalRadius · 02/09/2023 18:45

Someone complaining about swearing on MN, particularly 'the f and c words' and the first reply was:

Off you fuck then, cuntychops.

One of the few times I have actually laughed at something on here!
.

The woman who was FB stalking her ex and his partner, she accidentally tagged herself on a photo of their new baby. I cried laughing at that.

Omg!!! I'd love to read this one

Toffeesgirl · 02/09/2023 18:45

The one that made me laugh was the lady in the doctors that moved her baby's arm (can't remember all the details so if anyone can find it please)

The OP I think about a lot is the one whose abusive ex wouldn't let her buy anything red but she left him, moved cities and had bought herself a red toothbrush.

LimeCheesecake · 02/09/2023 18:45

imSatanhonest · 02/09/2023 17:02

Does anyone know what happened to the lady whose DH did cycling and she was concerned about an unknown-to-them lady who would turn up at their races/meets with pom poms to support them cheerleader-style?!

Ooh I’d love to know what happened with that one!

BitchImTheSecretIngredient · 02/09/2023 18:46

When a poster accidentally wrote "boil in a vag" instead of bag. I properly laughed at that one

Yes, and in fact being stranger than fiction, one of my real life friends was doing some research with people that that happens to (real ones, not the troll ones) and that poster got in touch with my friend to tell her "story". Story being the operative word!

TooOldForASugarDaddy · 02/09/2023 18:48

Whatever happened with that woman who was going to identify herself as a man to go into a public swimming pool? Wonder if she was arrested or if she is still campaigning for safe spaces for women.

DrFoxtrot · 02/09/2023 18:48

I sometimes randomly think of the poster who thought that every child in the UK went on their school residential trip to the Isle of Wight 😂 and asked where children that lived on the Isle of Wight went.

PhantomUnicorn · 02/09/2023 18:49

One poster who posted repeatedly about her abusive husband, then one day when her baby was a few weeks old, came on to say that someone on here had worked out who she was, reported her to social services, and she'd come home from her 6 weeks pp check to find a policeman and a social worker on her doorstep with loads of print outs of her threads, she was so upset and betrayed that someone would do that, and all people did was tell her she was an awful person and were just really, really horrible to her because she wouldn't/couldn't leave him, so got turned on and ripped to shreds.

That freaked me out, she never posted again after that and i often wonder what it was about her that she didn't get the support other women in her situation do.

I wonder if she's ok every now and again, and if she plucked up the courage to leave.

HotWaxToTheMax · 02/09/2023 18:53

The one that made me laugh for a few days was a Christmas one. OP had McScrooge type neighbour and she kept changing his decorations (I think 🤔)
Boil in a vag was brilliant

diamondpony80 · 02/09/2023 18:54

Pamela. Her posts were heartbreaking and she was only in her forties. I always watched for her updates until they stopped. RIP.

The garden thief and SpanGran - woman lived in a listed building with six houses arranged in a quadrangle.

Four had gardens in the centre. Owners of house without garden illegally knocked patio doors through to hers.
Was a Spanish granny involved and the wall needed up collapsing.
Don't think OP ever posted a resolution as there was a lot of legal stuff going on but I've often wondered.

Yes the listed building with the garden had me hooked! I think it all got deleted and we never found out what happened. It was such an incredulous story.
