Hi
i went to bed last night and was absolutely fine. I woke up this morning with something weird on the side of my wrist and I have no clue what it is, it’s been 45 minutes and hasn’t gone away or improved and I wasn’t lieing on it during the night. It’s a yellowish patch and a red ring around it but not quite a bullseye. There’s also no spot or head in it eg a tick bite. It’s absolutely throbbing, like when I touch it it’s agony

anyone know what this is?

Help! Wtf is this?

I was prepared to sat it's just a mozzie bite, spider bites are really rare, but actually if you look close its got two puncture wounds that is typical of a spider bite.

Agree spider bite. I read recently that the red ring found around a bite is your red blood cells racing to protect the site of potential infection. I don’t know how accurate that is but it reassured me.

Hi, just posting a quick update. The redness and pain have both gone thankfully but the yellow bubble/ blister is still there. It’s maybe slightly smaller but still there 😒 does anyone know how like something like this can take to fully go?

My mozzy bites do exactly what yours have done. They can take a while to go but will heal up entirely if you can resist the urge to scratch the top off! Commiserations, but it will disappear in a few days or so.
