To feel bad for the Lionesses ?

Whether footy minded or not I cannot help but feel bad for the Lionesses today with no person of note to support them. The Spanish Queen can go.It feels like an own goal to me letting the Ladies down. Not a good look for our country I think.What do you think?

I'm upset but not disappointed. They did very well and I am very proud of the whole team and pleased to see increased coverage and support for women's football.

Just because something is "the most popular sport in the world" doesn't make it the best sport. Where I live football has only become popular in relatively recent years, and it's not the most popular sport here. However, we are a sporting nation overall, and don't tend to make stupid, not to mention insulting, comments such as yours about sports which others play, and we applaud all our sportsmen/women.
