Curiosity only. I feel like it’s pointless getting a ticket but every now and then I like to daydream.

£4-ish. I don’t mind buying the tickets when I can afford to because they support associates etc.

InsomniacsWife · 19/08/2023 21:53

We won £99,074 in March 2016 with 5 + bonus ball

Hibernatalie · 19/08/2023 21:55

£40 on Hot Picks year ago

Soapyspuds · 19/08/2023 21:56

About £8.40 on the Euromillions.

Once I realised only 50% of the ticket price goes into the price pool I stopped playing.

ManchesterLu · 19/08/2023 21:57

£125 once, which I was over the moon at.

My auntie once got 5 numbers, and I know someone who won the millionaires raffle.

ineedanap82 · 19/08/2023 21:58

£90 12 years ago.

NewName122 · 19/08/2023 22:21

NewName122 · 19/08/2023 22:21

I'm lieing sorry 🤣 I meant to put 45

Manchestermummax3 · 19/08/2023 22:24

My parents won 110k.

Never told us til we were older. Then the trip to Disney world & house move in the same year made sense.
I was only 11 so had no concept of money then. We just had a nice holiday & got a bigger house.

Mountainhowl · 19/08/2023 22:42

This thread has just encouraged me to put a line on Wednesdays draw 😂 honestly even 5-10k would be a massive long term help (would pay off debts) so fingers crossed for me please 😂

I win big amounts (in the 10k+ region) on the radio in my head on a daily basis! I don't play anymore because signal one took off the free online entry but I always figured the odds must be better than the lottery, still never won

TrickorTreacle · 19/08/2023 22:43

On the old Saturday night draw when tickets were £1, I once had 4 numbers. That came to £105 and was about 15 years ago. 3 numbers was a tenner which I had a few times. I stopped when the ticket price was upped to £2.

Our cleaner's daughter won the jackpot from a 7-way works syndicate, again on the old Saturday draw, so it was easily still £150,000 going her way. That's the closest I've got to knowing anyone who won a big amount.

MountainChalet · 19/08/2023 22:51

£50 on a scratch card. Lotto I think the max I got was about £35

ClaireandTed · 19/08/2023 22:53

I got five numbers about thirty years ago, thought I'd be rich ha ha, won £501 and it went towards my student overdraft 🫤

Actually it was about twenty three years ago I think 🤔

Nat6999 · 19/08/2023 23:01

A share of £250k as part of a syndicate. We won the thunderball in 2003.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 19/08/2023 23:53

Ratfinkstinkypink · 20/08/2023 00:01

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 20/08/2023 00:58

cocksstrideintheevening · 20/08/2023 01:00

SophiaElise · 20/08/2023 01:10

HRTQueen · 20/08/2023 01:17

TheBeesKnee · 20/08/2023 01:19

I've only started playing as I'm on maternity leave and really don't want to go back to work!

I've had a few free dips and last week I won £3.90 for 2 numbers and one star, I was gutted!

TheWindyManTheLongMover · 20/08/2023 01:22

£10 fifteen years ago 🙄

CheetosCheerios · 20/08/2023 01:24

I know two women in my wider social circle who won 1.3 million and 1.6 million respectively on the lotto.

Me - about 12 quid once and lots of lucky dips. I play both lotto & Euromillions once a month.
