Curiosity only. I feel like it’s pointless getting a ticket but every now and then I like to daydream.

I win quite regularly. £160 biggest single win but won £50 last week and £30 today (scratch card bought as impulse). I’ve had lots of £2.40 / £5 etc wins. Been playing since 2020

itsgettingweird · 19/08/2023 17:33

5 numbers.

£1049

This was about 8 years ago so worth more then but not a fortune for 5 numbers!

Tickets were also still £1!

andjustlikethat1 · 19/08/2023 17:35

I have been playing for years and years. I won 51 quid last week on roll down with 3 numbers. One week on euros I had 3 and 2 on one line and a different 2 with the 2 balls, so if I had of done them together I would have won, it was pretty exciting but not my desired result. I am rather sick of it tbh. I wish I could get back all the money that I have spent and I also don't know anyone who has won.

Do you hate the number that's let you down?? Lol 😂

HannahinHampshire · 19/08/2023 17:40

£93 years ago. My friend won a million, it was life changing for her and her children.

LadyWiddiothethird · 19/08/2023 17:45

£2,000 about 10 years ago, infrequently win a couple of quid.Do the lottery every week, must have wasted thousands on it.

EggOverEasy · 19/08/2023 17:46

£40 on a scratch card.

£2.50 ish on a ticket.

Play only a couple times a year at most

Blankspace35 · 19/08/2023 17:47

i won £500 once
my parents won 90,000

Shufflebumnessie · 19/08/2023 17:50

£40 on a scratch card that was given to me as a birthday gift. I thought I'd won £4 (mis-read the winning instructions) so it was a nice surprise when I was handed the actual amount.
My parents won about £600.

RabbitsRock · 19/08/2023 17:50

Lottery £96
Scratchcard £200

emmetgirl · 19/08/2023 17:52

£10 Hmm

WednesdayLounge · 19/08/2023 17:53

£125 on a scratch card (online) about 17 years ago, I was really in need of money at the time so couldn't believe my luck tbh and emailed Camelot practically hourly until the money was paid because I kept thinking they would say it was an error 😂 think I even called them. They probably thought I'd lost the plot 😂😂😂

LateSummerLobelia · 19/08/2023 17:55

£30.00

There was an AMA a while back by a woman who won £14 million.

Thinking about that thread has led to me spending a very great deal on tickets.

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/08/2023 17:57

About a tenner. I'm sure my parents had a big win not that long ago but won't tell me lol. I also know relatives of the couple from Scotland that won the euromillions.

Purplepeopleeaterz · 19/08/2023 18:05

£73 a few months back, still live in hope and play one draw a week. I refuse to look at the Wednesday draws in case my numbers come up the day I don’t play though.

1dayatatime · 19/08/2023 18:15

@mittenandthekitten

Ah i just beat you with my maximum (and only) lottery win of £3.28.

But at least I can honestly say that I have won the lottery!

Crinklecutchips1 · 19/08/2023 18:20

mauvish · 19/08/2023 17:20

I don't do the lottery. But I used to know a retired couple who won £6.5 million.

I understand that they gave a lot of it to charity, having first set themselves and family members up re housing.

That's lovely

ShanghaiDiva · 19/08/2023 18:21

£20, but £5k on premium bonds.

continentallentil · 19/08/2023 18:22

A big fat O

But then I only ever had one ticket (bought by someone else)

beeonmybonnett · 19/08/2023 18:24

£5 !! It’s a bloody scam

larkstar · 19/08/2023 18:24

£99 in the first year it started and no more than £2 ever since - I hardly do it these days except for the odd "must win" where they've had 5 draws without the main prize being won.

ScarlettSunset · 19/08/2023 18:25

£75.
I did have a flatmate who won £1000 on a scratch card when they first came out. And a colleague who was part of a small syndicate (at their previous workplace) that won £90,000 to share.
I still dream of a big win myself.

Showdogworkingdog · 19/08/2023 18:25

£130 and I play weekly (direct debit 🙄).
A work colleague won £26k a few years ago. She got 5 numbers and the bonus. I mean, it’s a lovely thing to win but she was always pissed off that the weeks either side of her win, winners matching 5 plus the bonus won £millions. There were lots of winners her week. Bummer.
her DD had a lovely wedding anyway.

CandyLeBonBon · 19/08/2023 18:30

£1500

AllAboardTootToot · 19/08/2023 18:34
