If she does indeed (as is heavily rumoured) suffer from significant mental health problems as well as potential addiction issues then recognising that she is vulnerable and may not be able to 'sort herself out' independently is hardly infantilising. If only it was so easy. Agree its horrible for her children of course.

'She's not nice". Well serve her right then. Even women who are clearly severely unwell have to be 'nice' with it. Is she pretty enough? Perhaps we could throw an ugly in there as well? We really are our own worst enemies at times, poor BS. I doubt anyone is going to be able to help her.

@Igotjelly this is the problem isn't it? She appears (from what we know) to have pushed everyone away with her behaviour. So she may have to do this by herself. Addicts wants yes people , anyone speaking sense is a joyless in their opinion. It is all very sad.

Got to say I think I've been fooled by Sam, if what tmz report is true then he was just in it for the money all along and that is so fucked up. No better than her dad, sam lufti etc.

Her ex who she married for like 24 hours was caught on her property on her wedding day, no wonder she is fucked up with all these awful men around her !

Was mean to say, I hope one day her boys see that she isn't well and just needs some help and guidance, I hope they can reconnect with her as she has nobody around her now, not family wise anyway

Is there any proof she’s a drug user though or an addict? I recall something about her using adderal and her dad giving it her during the conservatorship to perform better and that dodgy manager back in 07 saying she used drugs but he was hardly credible

It's only a few months since KFed was claiming she was using Crystal Meth - but that seemed a way of making sure he got more money out of her, and moving o Hawaii was DEFINITELY a cash grab as she now has to pay out for the boys till they are 23, not 18 which is next month

the conservatorship defied logic. That she has profound mental health and/or addiction issues is obvious. She was performing regularly while under the conservatorship though. Either it wasn’t necessary or the actual conservator was not doing his job because someone with serious issues should not have been performing so frequently.

I feel absolutely so sorry for her, I always thought things were fishy with him. She clearly has mental health issues and seems to have no-one who genuinely cares for her. I feel like she has just been used her whole life for money. I really wish her well and that she finds someone who actually has her best intentions at heart, not even in a romantic way even just a solid genuine friend.

But I also think her behaviour on insta is exactly why her kids walked away - they asked her to stop posting photos, said she was embarrassing them and she didn't stop. I also agree with you that she clearly only wants 'yes' people around her

But that doesn't mean she's not been horribly treated by literally every single person in her entire life. or that she has huge mental health issues which explain (not justify) her behaviour

I think if she had a genuine loving family who kept themselve private and kept her grounded then things would have been much different.

The last I remember from him, was him saying that if she didn't want to work, he was walking away as he didn't want to force her to do things she didn't want to do...As far as I know he's never sued her or treated her badly did he?

When she did the duet with Elton, I thought he'd take her under his wing as he has done with other celebs who've been having troubles.

Maybe that was naive. I hope one of her lawyers in the conservativeship case will be quietly reaching out to her.

The conservatorship was blatantly exploitative and claimed she had dementia while forcing her to perform Vegas.

She may well need help and support - who wouldn't after what she has been through - but the conservatorship was just more exploitation.

I think what she's been through would be enough to make anyone lose it.

Her parents, particularly her father should be locked up for what has become of her. Her parents pushed her into this stardom, all of her mental health issues stem from a dreadful childhood.

It would be interesting to see the pre nup agreement. I suspect he gets nothing for under a year of marriage but a whole lot more for the year. She doesn't come across well but equally he doesn't come across genuine. A bit like the men that latch on to Katie Price. They see someone easily won over and ££££

You can't believe the internet. The only sources that are claiming Sam is after all her fortine is TMZ and Page 6 and both are gossip rags that print whatever they want.

1. The pre-nup gives him (according to the lawyer) $1,000,000 for every 2 years they are married. That is iron clad so he is only entitled to a pro rated sum of around $500,000. He gets no rights to her $60 million or her catalog or any other pre-marriage assets.
2. The marital home is registered as an asset to an LLC (company) not as belonging to her or him outright. This means they need to determine who is owed what from the value of this.

Sam and Britney have items (Sam's lawyer says) of community property, assets and debts and Sam is asking for an adjustment to get disclosure on what these are and how much he owes/is due because their marriage means he is jointly liable for certain debts etc.

There may also be a fidelity clause in the pre-nup. This means if either cheated, the other would be due an additional sum.

So, maybe he isn't the money grubber after all. Maybe they just have a tangled list of debts and assets they need to discuss so that they can walk away cleanly from what was probably a painful end to a 7+ year relationship.

I couldn't find a single direct quote from him or his lawyer where he is threatening to expose her or her secrets.

All the people saying 'see? this proves her father should have been able to maintain control over her life' can't see that all her current problems are a culmination of being exploited and rinsed by her family from a very young age.

Many people have mental health problems, it does not mean they should not have control over their own lives.
