… Margot? I do! I’ve watched the Barbie movie three times now and I’ve developed a girl crush on her for some reason. I’ve watched a few clips of her Barbie promo with Ryan and she just exudes cool, fun but also serious and mature energy. Never seen any of her movies before.

Pathetic but I’m considering her Barbie promo style a bit of a style inspiration. I’m trying to dress more girly and feminine now. I’m also losing weight too. She’s just soo cool and pretty.

I really envy her and Tom’s relationship/marriage even though I know nothing real about them. I wonder what is going on with me because I can recognise this is well weird and it’s only the last two weeks I’ve felt this way.

I don't actually get the Ryan Gosling hype. he looks like someone with a bad nose job to me.

I can see that she conforms to western stereotypes of beauty ie blonde, blue-eyed etc. But her looks genuinely seem meh to me when compared to some other celebs. Eg Zendaya is far more attractive in my eyes and MR looks bland in comparison. Is that not allowed or must I be lying?

Having said that, I do feel a bit mean. I am not normally one to dissect people’s looks negatively yet here I am.

She's probably beautiful to you by European standards etc other cultures may find her features a bit 'meh'

Margot Robbie is beautiful - there is no denying that. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

That’s a saying for good reason!

If I got to choose who I looked like, it would be like Vivian Leigh, or Ashwarya Rai, or someone who had those sort of looks - that’s no shade on Margot. It’s just that everyone has different tastes and preferences. This isn’t a revelation, surely.

A young Brad Pitt didn’t do it for me, either - even though he (was) a drop-dead gorgeous man.

Not an actress but I quite like Gwen Stefani's look dark brown eyes and light coloured hair that combo is a bit different to the norm, she's so pretty I was on her IG a while ago and couldn't see one bad pic of her. But then again she's probably had work done who knows 🤷‍♀️

She's beautiful but yes, she has definitely had work done. I don't judge her for it, it's her decision and her looks are her livelihood.

Probably? She has a whole new face! She was beautiful in the 90s, I absolutely idolised her. Not so much now.

I mostly want her smile. Some peoples are so wide and perfect and show so many teeth. Mines like my mouth is too small to show my teeth.

Personally I don’t think she’s completely cookie cutter or girl next door and definitely not plain, and I think her features are actually quite strong but her look isn’t unusual as such.

I used to work with Scandinavian teenagers and MANY of them looked like they could be sisters or at least cousins of Margot Robbie. My former flatmate who is Swedish looks like her too.

People aren't saying she's not pretty, it's just there are loads of pretty/beautiful women, many of whom look like her. I'm London, I see lots of really attractive women around. There's a really funny/weird thing on Instagram where someone films a woman from the back as she walks so you can see people's reactions. Inevitably she's got beautiful hair and a slim but curvy body, and all the men stare.

I do think she fits that very stereotypical trophy look, blonde hair, blue eyes (which makes her perfect for Barbie).

I always thought Rachel Weiz was stunning but now surgery has ruined her look.

I think Margot is beautiful. Not only that, she just seems so effortlessly cool and she’s very intelligent, witty and funny.
One of my colleagues went to school with her but was in the year below. Apparently she was so lovely even back then. Her mum lives in the next suburb to ours, and is apparently really lovely too. Sigh.

What is sad is that she doesn’t see herself as sexy. There’s an interview on YouTube somewhere where a presenter asked her if she ever feels sexy. Immediately a look of sadness appeared in Margot’s eyes as she answered no. She’s played characters that have made her feel sexy, but as Margot, she doesn’t. Then she spoke about her flaws that she sees (whattttt?!!) like that she thinks her mouth is too big. Seeing that vulnerable side just made me love her more. I have a girl crush but in a non sexual way!

All these men online calling her ‘mid’, ridiculous. She’s a beautiful woman with what seems like a beautiful heart.

Margot Robbie is stunning but if I had to look like anyone it would be Rihanna, Nikki Thot (an australian vlogger and model), a young Catherine Zeta or Marion Cotillard at any age. They all have a very unique, elegant and slightly mysterious/ mischievous element to their beauty that draws you in and keeps you there.

Margot Robbie is standard beauty. But as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder so we will all have different opinions on this.

I think she is incredibly beautiful. She has that elfin look with her strong features that elevate her to the next level.

I don't think eye, skin or hair colour are definitive in anyone's beauty. I'd never say someone is beautiful because they have dark hair and brown eyes, and equally, I wouldn't say that I didn't rate someone because their hair/eye colour combo was too boring. It's all about features, shapes, angles and proportions and there are certain combinations which are I'm fact very beautiful. The structures of the face, where fat is distributed, whether someone has dimples, the position of everything in relation to the rest of the face. I think Margot Robbie has large, expressive and well positioned features, and structurally is very attractive. She has had surgery to make her a little more Hollywood ready, however. They all have, almost every one of them.

She's definitely had surgery, look at her chin/sides plus her nose. Same for Blake Lively. Her nose is completely different but wow, what a difference it makes. She looks incredible. Funnily enough, the few pictures of her daughter I've seen, she looks like she has her mum's original look.

Agree, Blake has definitely had surgery. I loved her ‘old’ nose. It made her perfectly imperfect.

I agree also with a PP about growing up in the 1990’s and Britney Spears was what everyone aspired to. I never got that. So beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

Who played Ken in the barbie movie (I’m so rubbish with names!)….to me he is so unattractive however, loads of women fawn over him.

@Masterofhappydays I actually think Blake has a wow factor with her new nose. I very much doubt she'd have the attention she gets plus all those rumours about her being HW main squeeze for years if she wasn't considered uber gorgeous.

Ken = Ryan Gosling. I think people only love him because of the Notebook but he's not all that. I got really put off after this!

My daughter genuinely looks like her and is tall, size 6. Blonde, blue eyes, similar features and has had people point it out. She gets harassed in the street, on the bus, in the train and has very low self confidence as a result.

Yeah, I've always thought that blonde hair and brown eyes are gorgeous. Blue eyes look gorgeous with dark hair. I think it's the contrast which is eye catching.

Is she really only 33. She looks 45. I think she’s very unattractive, she is off putting and I’m not sure why. However, when I looked up her age, I saw younger photos of her and she was beautiful then physically. Her face is different now and it’s not due to age, there’s something changed. And she has very thick skin for her age, with giant pores, and something about her nose is weird. Regardless, she looks like hundreds if not thousands of other women striving for a certain look. Then there are the Kim Kardashian types who have that one look. Makes them all look the same like mannequins, one blonde and one brunette.
