Do you ever wish you looked like…Barbie actress.

… Margot? I do! I’ve watched the Barbie movie three times now and I’ve developed a girl crush on her for some reason. I’ve watched a few clips of her Barbie promo with Ryan and she just exudes cool, fun but also serious and mature energy. Never seen any of her movies before.

Pathetic but I’m considering her Barbie promo style a bit of a style inspiration. I’m trying to dress more girly and feminine now. I’m also losing weight too. She’s just soo cool and pretty.

I really envy her and Tom’s relationship/marriage even though I know nothing real about them. I wonder what is going on with me because I can recognise this is well weird and it’s only the last two weeks I’ve felt this way.

I know someone who worked with her back in the neighbours days and is still in contact with her, by all accounts she's lovely , down to earth, fun, doesn't take herself too seriously and clearly she's a great actress. All things to admire before her looks IMO, which are just fortunate genetics

Not at all. She’s lovely etc( as you’d expect, it is her job). I can obviously only say this anonymous forum, but I think I am prettier than her and I prefer my own face by quite a long way. I’d honestly be quite upset if I woke up and we’d done a face swap.

I remember that Graham Norton interview where Jim Carrey was on the sofa too and he basically said in one way or another that she was only successful because of her looks, she handled that really well. He may have not meant it in that way but it was a little off!

I think she's really clever in how she presents herself & clearly very ambitious which is a good thing.

I wouldn't say no to whatever surgery she had done to her eyes.

She's not tall. I actually think one of the good things about her is she has a very normal body (obviously she's got very thin recently but assume that's stress etc). She's not ridiculously long limbed with big boobs, tiny waist & big bum.

I enjoyed the Barbie movie and I think she is certainly very beautiful but I can't say that I aspire to be like her. And I don't know anything about what kind of person she is, so 🤷‍♀️

She's defo had work & of course there's botox, who hasn't done both in Hollywood!

I genuinely can't see much of a difference. Other than her face becoming more angular as she ages, which is pretty normal especially combined with the weight she's lost.
She's probably had Botox but that seems par for the course nowadays.

I think Margot is absolutely beautiful and although most people would say she's more attractive than me I presume, I wouldn't switch looks because I'm happy with who I am.

But she is undeniably so gorgeous!

I don't think 70% think Margot is unattractive, They just don't necessarily want to look like her, as they are happy as they are/as themselves.

I am one of the 70%. I think Margot is gorgeous, but the OP asked 'do you wish you looked like her?' I don't, so I clicked on YABU. As did 7 out of 10 others. It's fine to say Margot is stunning and pretty, but it's a bit weird to want to look like her. That is the sort of thing I would have said when I was 15.. But it was Debbie Harry.

It seems (to me) that only someone really young would admit they want to look like someone else. Normal to think 'I wish I was slimmer or taller or had longer hair or curlier hair etc...' But wishing you looked like another person isn't normal IMO.

@TregunaMekoides her eyes are much bigger & more open compared to Neighbours days. Filler (you can do all sorts with it), botox & teeth are par for the course. It would be incredibly unusual for someone in Hollywood to not have had something done...

i did have barbies body when i was 18 fast forwards 21 years 2 kids i now look like barbies great gran .

She can't act for toffee and absolutely butchered her role as Sharon Tate, so whilst she is a lovely looking woman she always looks two dimensional to me and wooden and I wouldn't want to look like her.

To me she's like a female Leonardo di Caprio - she reacts (loudly) rather than acts.

She also can't do comedy. Ryan Gosling was hilarious in comparison.
