To think the cunting ULEZ autopay website is fucking bullshit

Been trying for TOO FUCKING CUNTING long to create an autopay account.

Apparently even shit like thsi: 5e%1A!2b"4D$5e%2b"3C£ does not meet the password security requirements😡😡😡😡😡

AIBU to think if they want to rob us of our money we shouldn't have to jump through fucking hoops to fucking give it to them????

Oh it gets worse, I'm fighting them at the moment because despite me setting up autopay they have decided I DIDN'T and are now trying to take me to court! Couldn't even make representations online because of constant fucking 404 screens, 800 phone calls later I was no further.

I don't mind paying! I WANT TO PAY! JUST DONT TELL ME I'VE SET UP AUTOPAY WHEN CLEARLY IT'S NOT WORKED. AGAIN! ARGH!

I had an autopay account for YEARS and like you was locked out of it and had to do everything again. WHY WOULD TFL THINK I SUDDENLY DIDNT WANT AUTOPAY? WHY?

They absolutely are, same reason they've got tiny little blue signs for it, they should be yellow or something.

I've sent an email to dart-charge so that, that is logged if the payment tonight fucks up/isn't taken, but I doubt they'd let us off a fine.

Yes. The other day we went to London in the car as there was a train strike and I thought I was going to see my husband lose his temper for the first time in 26 years. You’re right - I think they deliberately make it really hard to pay so after over an hour of getting nowhere people will say fuck it and give up.
The fine will be sent out efficiently and promptly however.

I've done a search of my email account and found my customer ID, I've already got an account apparently, I just need to get into it now.

I've found email addresses too, rather than just the number they give:

Congestion Charging - you can email us at [email protected]
Low Emission Zone - you can email us at [email protected]
Ultra Low Emission Zone - you can email us at [email protected]

I'm a bit calmer now 😆, I've just had some cheese - not eaten all day then get 1.5hrs added to my day doing this 🙄 I'm not hangry anymore now 😂😂😂 They're still cunts though.

I just had a dreaded PCN from Dart Charge, it's not fit for purpose. Went through Friday at about 8pm paid the next morning (Saturday) at 11am but money not taken out of my account till Monday. Get the dreaded letter but trying to make representations was a nightmare constant error or my VRM came back as a bloody Lexus (Car is a Honda!)
Then finally sent the payment ref and just get an email saying the PCN was issued in error but they can re send it if evidence came to light.
I WANT A FUCKING SORRY YOU THIEVING BASTARDS!
It took 1hr of my life sorting this that I won't get back. I want my sorry but will not get get! Rage 😡

There was something about this on You and Yours (radio 4) today. It was about dodgy websites that you send payment to but are scams so be careful!

I fought them for 6 months once. First we knew about any charge was when a bloody bailiff showed up at the house!

Turns out they had somehow put a charge on our car which lives in Sussex. Completely random and took hours of my life sorting out.

@Beenhereforever1978 wow your rage with them must be incandescent! I'm used to being in a court setting so I'd make them show up to the hearing and then hit them with my evidence. They are banking on people being too scared to go to court!

We had similar attempted theft. I went into London in DH’s car. Logged into my autopay account the night before and added his car. No issues. Got a PCN. Eh?! I W ent back online to check, and my autopay account had been closed. When I called them, they swore black was blue that I’d only added his car to a “vehicle management list”, not autopay. On my closed autopay account. Grr!

This is obviously deliberate. Its getting stuck at the create password page, saying every password doesn't meet criteria.

And, accourding the email I've received, you have to apply for and be accepted to autopay ffs 😂😂😂

"If you have applied for additional services or discounts, including Auto Pay, you will receive a separate notification informing you whether your application has been successful."

What the actual fuck.

I've found an auto pay manual online, it says auto pay is for the congestion charge, but you need yet another account to pay for the LEZ. Its from 2017 though so fuck knows if that still stands. But having one account to pay for everything would be far too simple, of course.
