I have sky, Disney, Netflix, Apple and Amazon prime. But can find nothing to watch - I am clearly watching too much tv, I have seen it all!!

I love comedies like schitts creek, modern family and the Mindy project. Really loving hijack on Apple - loved the morning show.

have seen and love the good place, good omens, veep was one of my favourite shows ever.

Really loved working moms.

what else can you lovely ladies and gents recommend??? Please - I am home alone on Saturday night. Glass of wine in hand - trying to relax.

I've just finished ghosts and loved it. Seems I was late to the party though so you've probably seen it!

The American Ghosts is also good, and different wnough you don't feel like you are watching the same thing with an American accent.

I'm currently binging on Young Sheldon, I have never watched Big Bang Theory so I didn't think I would like it but I'm hooked.

Allmyghosts · 30/07/2023 05:25

Ted lasso? It's a bit cringe and basically kids TV with adult themes, but it's entertaining and got me through feeling shite not long ago.

What we do in the shadows

Second this! Fantastic show.

Another vote for Severance - absolutely the best series I've seen in years; such a fascinating and clever concept, and beautifully done. I hope we eventually get series 2.

No one's mentioned Game of Thrones yet!

Yellowstone.

I've just started watching (re-watching, after many years) the original 1975 Survivors on ITVx. It's amazing how well this fifty-year-old series holds up - still gripping, still chilling, still great characters.

The Bear is excellent, its a drama but it's darkly comic and had me laughing out loud at times. One of those shows where you find yourself missing the characters when you've finished it. Great soundtrack too.

I also really enjoyed Beef on Netflix. Another dark comedy, really outstanding performances from the two leads and properly addictive. The kind of show you stay up too late watching!

There She Goes (on Iplayer) is a comedy but very moving in parts. Short episodes so quite good if you want something to binge.

I really like The Great for a bit of escapism (think it's on 4OD or whatever its called now), it's funny and outrageous and daft in a good way.

Chewing Gum on Netflix is hilarious. Michaela Coel is a genius and so loveable as Tracey. Again, short episodes so good to binge watch and quite an easy going watch.

Mercurial123 · 30/07/2023 17:29

Wellmania on Netflix is really funny.

Yellowstone. It has a Dallas vibe to it, but Montana/cattle. Enjoyably schlocky.

midsomermurderess · 30/07/2023 17:47

Channel 5.

Sky/Now TV

PilsAwfulDilemna · 30/07/2023 18:17

Thank you.

I've started to watch it, it's got a very cosy feel and it adore the male actor, he's brilliant.
