I have sky, Disney, Netflix, Apple and Amazon prime. But can find nothing to watch - I am clearly watching too much tv, I have seen it all!!

I love comedies like schitts creek, modern family and the Mindy project. Really loving hijack on Apple - loved the morning show.

have seen and love the good place, good omens, veep was one of my favourite shows ever.

Really loved working moms.

what else can you lovely ladies and gents recommend??? Please - I am home alone on Saturday night. Glass of wine in hand - trying to relax.

I've watched some excellent Aussie stuff recently.

Wanted and Colin from Accounts are two that spring to mind.

chachaching · 29/07/2023 21:30

Life in pieces on prime, is really funny and an easy watch - similar to modern family.

SookMaDook · 29/07/2023 22:04

Comedy / Lighthearted try Two Doors Down (iplayer) Cuckoo (netflix) or Insatiable (netflix).

Also really enjoyed Ginny & Georgia recently.

newmama2023 · 29/07/2023 22:10

Always sunny in Philadelphia on netflix is my all time fave hilarious show.

Pugdogmom · 29/07/2023 22:14

SookMaDook · 29/07/2023 22:04

Comedy / Lighthearted try Two Doors Down (iplayer) Cuckoo (netflix) or Insatiable (netflix).

Also really enjoyed Ginny & Georgia recently.

I second Two doors down. Am on 2nd series and can't stop laughing at it....🤣. BBC I player.
Also Brooklyn 99 is great ( Netflix)
Lincoln Lawyer ( Netflix)
911 ( Disney Plus, I think), and there is a Lonestar one.
Revenge on Disney.

BaroldBalonz · 29/07/2023 22:29

Preacher
Pushing Daises
You, me and the apocalypse (probably the best thing I've ever seen, but nobody ever seems to have seen it)

I have no idea where/if they are playing, but worth a look.

SiouxsieSiouxStiletto · 29/07/2023 22:31

If you liked Colin From Acvpunts you might also like Everybody Else Dies on C4.

Things I’ve enjoyed a lot recently - for all mankind on Apple, there are a few good shows on there, Altho I’m struggling to think of what else we liked on there - I think “the after party” was apple and that was really good.

Really liked Yellowjacket’s, but that was paramount.

might not be your cup of tea, but Dark on Netflix is one of my favourite shows ever. So clever!
Alice in Borderland is great on Netflix.

Search party is great (I think it might be on iplayer).

If you likes Yellowjackets, did you see The Wilds? Fairly similar.

Nearlyspring23 · 29/07/2023 22:49

Im currently on mat leave and so have been watching a lot of tv recently.
I really rate iplayer comedy series (particularly the British female written ones):

  • Queen of Oz
  • Black Ops
  • Am I being unreasonable
  • Witchfinder
  • Mandy
  • Fleabag
  • Mood
  • Almas not normal

I also really liked Only Murders in the Building on Disney. Series 3 coming soon!!

Ponderingtosk · 29/07/2023 22:54

Netflix, Emily in Paris, basically a romantic series but I found it laugh out loud too, binge watched it all.

Amblesidebadger · 29/07/2023 22:55

All funny / easy-viewing:

Man Down (Netflix)
Motherland (Netflix)
Stella (?)
Greenwing (C4)
