I have sky, Disney, Netflix, Apple and Amazon prime. But can find nothing to watch - I am clearly watching too much tv, I have seen it all!!

I love comedies like schitts creek, modern family and the Mindy project. Really loving hijack on Apple - loved the morning show.

have seen and love the good place, good omens, veep was one of my favourite shows ever.

Really loved working moms.

what else can you lovely ladies and gents recommend??? Please - I am home alone on Saturday night. Glass of wine in hand - trying to relax.

We have similar tastes..recently I've loved Sprung on prime, by the same team that did Raising Hope and My Name is Earl which are both on Disney. Just nice easy funny programmes.

Tillymint2015 · 29/07/2023 20:10

I really enjoyed This is Us on Prime

Feetupteashot · 29/07/2023 20:11

Dreaming whilst black (BBC)

DanceWithTheBigBoysAgain · 29/07/2023 20:17

Ghosts (US) isn't bad once you've finished Ghosts UK

The only things I've enjoyed which haven't already been recommended are Lucifer (Netflix) and A Discovery of Witches (Sky) which are both romantic fantasy tosh highly suited to watching on your own with a glass of wine. Lucifer is funny, ADOW more dramatic.

I enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer recently.

The Morning Show is back in September.

Ghosts on bbc?

Call my agent on Netflix (in French and took a few episodes for me to like it but I was really hooked by the end!)

The let down on Netflix is also v funny - Australian take on early parenthood

On Aussie thread, Colin from accounts is on iPlayer and v funny

My parents love Call My Agent. I watched a few episodes but couldn’t get into it.

They also like The Mafia Only Kills In Summer which I find better than CMA.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 29/07/2023 20:28

That one about the women climbing the water tower in the desert and I forget the name is good.

SingingFaLaLa · 29/07/2023 20:28

I'm currently halfway through Silo on Apple and I love it. It's scifi/ dystopian society, I'm totally gripped.

2mummies1baby · 29/07/2023 20:30

If you like comedies- Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99, Never Have I Ever are all great.

2mummies1baby · 29/07/2023 20:31

Also Ghosts (UK not US!) and Motherland for British comedies.

melisma · 29/07/2023 20:35

Lupin was great! Also White Lotus was perfect TV - both seasons!

TheSunshineSanctuary · 29/07/2023 20:37

Lucifer (Netflix) is really good. Staged (iPlayer) is funny and stars Michael Sheen and David Tenant.

BionicEar · 29/07/2023 20:39

How about Deadloch on Prime? Best way of describing it is like a funny version of Broadchurch, set in Australia.

We stumbled across it by accident and it had us in fits of laughter, along with keeping us guessing right to the end who the killer was.

Chickenkeev · 29/07/2023 20:39

The west wing and the wire

Dashel · 29/07/2023 20:43

The Marvellous Mrs Maissel is fantastic on Amazon.

buddhasbelly · 29/07/2023 20:45

Bad Sisters - A Sharon Horgan work of dark comedy genius - binged the whole thing. Set in Ireland. It’s just brilliant.

I thought yellow jackets was ok - I found it dragged at bits

I've finished season one of Silo and agree it's brilliant.

Also, Severance on Apple
Snowpiercer on Netflix
Manifest on Sky/Now (first 3 seasons) and Netflix (final season)
Daisy Jones and the Six on amazon
The Last of us on Sky/Now tv - absolutely amazing
The Handmaid's Tale
I need to start watching Good Omens 2.

FoxyFeeling · 29/07/2023 20:49

The Cockburns and Hebburn - comedy imitating real families, I found them both very funny and I’m a tough crowd

TuesdayWonder · 29/07/2023 20:51

Superstore (Netflix)
