DH has just put the dishwasher on a long cycle in the middle of the day 😡 I have all of his family coming shortly for a meal to celebrate his birthday.

surely everyone knows that during the day it’s a short cycle and overnight it’s a long cycle.

now I have to wait 3 bastard hours for it to finish with the pots building up.

People posting on SM (FB really) with a picture of their child holding results sheet saying 'So proud of X for getting all A stars, As and Bs in their GCSEs when they're not in Wales or Northern Ireland.😡 If you want to brag, just put the fucking numerical grades.

I suspect that it's done so that people won't know whether the 'B' was a 6 or a 5. Fair enough explaining to someone out of the loop who may not know that numbers are now used and that 1 is the lowest and 9 the highest but our kids have all just done GCSEs, we know how the numbers fucking work!

People who always seem to be involved in some sort of drama and air their dirty laundry all over Facebook. Always seem to be the victim of something or someone and drama just seems to follow them about! When in reality, 99% of the time it’s them who is the cause of it all but they just love to play the victim and let everyone on Facebook know how badly done to they are!

And also people posting photographs every single day - sometimes 5-10 times a day of their children, and all their 'achievements' like the wet lettuce handwritten A5 size piece of paper (that they call a certificate) with some lame 'award' on it. Sports achievements, art class achievements la la la goes on forever. 🙄

And I also loathe people gushing over their DH or partner!

One woman I know has been driving me nuts this past week. On holiday in a caravan in the UK, and has posted between 40 and 50 photos every day, on facebook and instagram for a WEEK - of her, and her partner, and her 2 kids. Same pics all the time virtually - in the caravan, on the beach, at the fair, in the arcade, walking down the street, in the sea, in the park, on the swings and slides etc etc etc.. I have had to 'unfollow' her, so her posts don't come up on my timeline anymore.

I am SICK of seeing her and her bloke and her kids filling up my timeline EVERY SINGLE DAY! Can't be having THAT good a holiday if she is spending half her waking hours taking photos and uploading them to facebook and instagram! Who is she trying to impress? What is she trying to prove?

Neither do we want to see a picture of your meal or your husband with his pint of beer each and every night of your holiday
okay we know your on holiday again lol please just leave it there not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to afford to go on holiday let alone 5 or 6 and to be honest after a while the pictures just become mundane and quite embarrassing if I'm honest and it makes me squirm about the lack of empathy and thought for others who may not be able to afford the same

And those self centred, attention seeking people who think they are absolutely stunning with a full face of Botox and lip fillers then feel the need to use filters and are constantly posting mirror selfies or stories of themselves looking into their phone camera while pouting and moving their face and lips - all while looking extremely gormless and trying their absolute damndest to act like models but can’t quite pull it off 🤣

Both dh and ds NEVER straightening out the hand towel so when I go to dry my hands it's in a damp lump on the holder and feels gross.

When kids walk past other adults to ask me to help them, I'm not the only one who can open a packet of Crisps or tie your shoes - ask them!

Being SO tired downstairs I'm falling asleep but soon as I go to bed I'm WIDE awake.

For some time I have been giving a lift to someone who lives near me to a weekly activity. This person has learning difficulties which means that if I don't take her, she can't get there. If I ever don't go I get the Daily Mail face from her mum which makes me feel guilty and it also means that I can't meet a friend for a coffee or go shopping on the way there or back without having to take her with me.

Today I picked her up for a social event. Before we left her mum asked what time we would be back. I had no idea. So her mum said well you will have to get her back by 3.00 because she has a doctors appointment. So we had to leave early!!

Delivery drivers who pull up in my street with windows down and radio blaring.

People picking wild flowers, or allowing their DC to pick wild flowers. Closely associated is people destroying wild flowers by stomping into them to take pics or sending their kid into them so they can take photos. It's one of the few things in life that will prompt me to actually call someone out. I particularly love spring flowers and last year I saw people pick bunches of daffs from the park, and one set of parents who encouraged their toddler to trample some gorgeous crocuses so they could take pics. So so selfish. I can feel my blood pressure rising as I think about it so I'll stop now.

Yes it is, I’ll be glad when the trend is over (if it’s ever over ).The huge majority have long blonde wavy hair, you literally cannot tell the difference between them they all look the same! There’s hundreds of them. I wouldn’t mind as much if they all didn’t look alike and they just posted content every now and again but it’s literally all “me me me look at me” all day every day.
