I need your help with sneaky DH

Took rings off last night left on side of the kitchen sink.
Came down from work and engagement ring has disappeared....mild panic.

Sneaky DH has hidden the ring. I've feigned disinterest but the stakes are high - we now have a game and I have all morning to find it.

All I've been told is it's somewhere in the kitchen. I've had most of the cupboards out and looked in all the glasses etc.

We have young DC so it's nowhere they would be able to find it.

All very petty and I was on the verge of texting for a clue....

I just can't get over his smug face coming and showing me where it was. It will be somewhere obvious I know it.

AIBU to ask for any suggestions? Please help - I need a win today

sorry only now read the whole string of messages, and see fridge is out, so you have checked smoke alarms, first aid and medicines out of room, so focusing on clue do you have one of those fire blankets for throwing over pots if kitchen on fire, or an extinguisher under the sink? maybe washing up gloves or disposable gloves it could be in, specific safety equipment for young kids aside from cupboard locks you already checked like a stairgate on doorway?

If kitchen has a back door and you leave key in lock, has he hung the ring on the key and inserted key back into lock?
