Dishwasher salesman pestering. AIBU?

I am absolutely sick of him constantly at the door pestering everyone including the elderly he comes over once a day sometimes and has been to this house at least twice this week and others also.

I think this is bordering on harassment but DH says he is just doing his job and say no politely. Some neighbours have complained and also some are elderly and vulnerable and should not have to put up with this on their doorstep. I cannot think of any reason why this is necessary but do not know who to complain to to stop him. Does anyone know who I report to?

Oops. Did I say microwave? That would be unremarkable. I meant dishwasher! Never tried it but there's always recipes around for it, involving either proper vacuumed bags or zip lock bags. Although the ultimate in disgusting is similar recipes for poaching fish in a hotel room coffeemaker. Imagine being the next guest....!

Since you can get Jewish fridges it makes sense for dishwashers to be Muslim.

I did watch (with disgusted fascination) some YouTube videos of ppl cooking lasagne and whole chicken in dishwashers but the coffee maker sounds especially repugnant.

This is weird…but just buy a job lot of “no cold callers” stickers and give them to neighbours.

alternatively contact the council and tell them your area needs to be one where cold calling is banned. I have seen areas where there are lots of older people and cold callers are completely banned.
