They're awful. I always do a double-take as well. It will be one of those trends to look back on and laugh at in the future...along with thick black eyebrows and all the other fun stuff.

It must be hard for the fashion industry to come up with new ideas at this point...the amount of throwback fashion out there says it all. Although, I was a kid in the 90s and I'm glad some of the classics (hello cargo trousers) are making a comeback.

Nude leggings and knee high boots - faux equestrian look and gives me the rage! A woman on the bus has it as her daily attire for work.

White and beige jods with long boots look good in the right context (ie on a horse!) they do not make good work wear, especially when not teamed with a tailored jacket.

It's ones that don't skim but actually go tight into your bum crack so if you're a toned young thing everyone can see your sculpted cheeks in all their glory. But they're essentially for the male gaze and look ridiculous.

I had a similar experience whilst driving a few years ago - it was a bit distracting!

Horrific sight during the week. Won’t say where just in case but young-ish very overweight woman carrying a baby and wearing nude, almost see through tight top and shorts. It was utterly awful. She had a bf with her. How’s he let her go out like that??

There’s a woman with nude scrunch bum leggings on my school run. Admittedly, her arse does look fantastic but I still find my self gawping at her every time. Cannot imagine the confidence required.

Leggings were launched for a laugh.
Only the terminally dim have failed to get the joke and wear them in public.

I am simultaneously trying to picture this, and to never, ever picture this! I have neither the figure nor the confidence required for such an outfit, nor would DD be happy if I wore attention grabbing clothes on the school run! Admittedly, she is rapidly approaching the stage where simply having a mother is embarrassing..

I see young and 30s ish women round my way in crop tops and leggings or cycling shorts or whatever they're called in nude tones all the time, it's all the Kim Kardashian influence I think, it looks hideous to me and without being crude, it shows er, everything

I'm going to buck the trend - I have a few pairs of these, and they're really comfortable to wear, and to me, they don't feel as casual as dark leggings.

I'm 42, 5ft 2, and a size 8 if that makes any difference.

Each to their own, and I'd not stop wearing them because people may or may not be judging me.

I don't understand wearing leggings outside house anyway (unless you're out jogging or going to some sports classes), but nude ones are hideous. I don't know if they are worse or those that accent butt crack 😬

The problem is that when these women stand in front of a mirror they think they look good because they are not moving and the light in their bedroom is flattering.

In reality when walking along in broad daylight and in motion every part of them jiggles and if they are even the tiniest bit overweight or not toned, every dimple and saggy bit is emphasised.

Camel toe is enlarged by the tight fit and breasts are squashed.

The material is cheap and the flesh colours are horribly unflattering.

Usually accompanied by massive eyebrows, over the top false eyelashes, over drawn or filled lips, orange foundation or bad fake tan, coffin shaped false nails, Turkey teeth and carrying a fake designer brand handbag and print Baku wouldn't be able to name who is the current Prime Minister, work out a percentage and think Love Island is the be all in life.

It’s the little strapped cycling shorted unitard things all the young women are wearing that baffle me the most.

I was out the other week and everyone under 30 seemed to have one on. Fine until you’re naked in a public toilet trying to enable it back up I imagine. I’d be sweating through it looking like borat.

They highlight and magnify every lump, bump, crease and fold on even very slim people.
