We are together 34 years.

DH> Heading to Waitrose do we need anything ?

No1 Peru chocolate please. My guilty pleasure with my only coffee of the day when I wake up, (keeper that he is he brings me coffee in bed)

DH>. Bloody hell, their asparagus is £20 a kilo. (Context we had been to the farm shop and paid £9 a kilo the day before 😀)

That was at the beginning of May.

Before that it was the beginning of April and we were discussing the Heineken Cup.

There was a thread earlier where the OP was concerned that the number of texts were being dialled back and less intense..

Yesterday I sent a rather aggressive 'well are you home or not????' Context - He said he may be able to come home early as kids had half day so I needed to know if I needed to rush home or not. Then he replied 'yes' which I ignored. Later a pic of the dog wearing a silly hat followed by a silly emoji from me.

Married 18 yrs together 26.

Then a picture of said hedgehog tree.

It's a man thing isn't it! I can't see any text or Whatsapp from him though they would have been very short and cryptic, we were married 51 years.

We mostly communicate via photos and ridiculous videos and rude memes. This morning I've sent him photos from my run and he sent me a Facebook video of cats swearing at each other.....

Me: we are through the door.
Dh: bloody cold here!

Married for 25 years, been together for 30.

DH: "have I told you I love you today? I do [pet name]. Can't wait to see you later"
Me: "Why do so many of your boxer shorts have holes in them? Are you, in fact, a moth?".

Yesterday. Together 25yrs.

I needed some sanitary pads and he was going to a shop so I sent a screenshot of the ones I wanted with a message saying ‘but check them because I DO NOT WANT SCENTED’

then 10 mins later I sent him a picture of our new kitten asleep on my leg.

the last message he replied to was me asking if he’s thought anymore about getting cctv for our business (we have issues with people using our car park for setting off fireworks) and his reply was ‘yes’

I asked Dh to put the fish fingers in the oven. About 12pm today. Married for 15 years. It’s wild around here.

DH - might need a couple more beers 😂(laughing face as he asked me to pop to the shop on my way home from work the night before)
Me - you get them!
Me - metros are delayed again, might be worth getting them in the freezer asap (beers were warm the night before)

Yesterday when he was waiting for his colonoscopy and I was in the main reception and he’d gone through to get ready…

he proceeded to sort out someone to go and help my mum and dad and then turned down sedation so I wouldn’t miss my staff member’s celebration lunch and he could pick me up. He’s a good egg 😊

We've been together 7 years, I sent the text at 7.30am so he could bring me a cuppa in bed

My dh works shifts so is always up early (5am is a lie in), I send him a text with the above on, so he knows I'm awake, and he brings me a cuppa up and comes back to bed and we have a natter before we get up. As he works shifts we only tend to see each other in the weekend or an hour in the evening, so it's nice to have a cuppa and a chat in bed on the weekends

It was 19th January this year and I asked him to bring me up a cup of tea as I was in bed not feeling great. We normally use WhatsApp but he has it muted and I knew he'd hear a text. His reply was 'OK' and I'm sure I had a brew delivered a few minutes later.

Together for 35 years now. He's a keeper.

Been together nearly 9 years. This was after I'd sent an announcement to the alexa upstairs

A conversation this morning,
I was doing the swimming lessons and he was with his dad at a hospital appointment.

We always do a 'got to work safely' text and 'leaving now' and lots of logistical stuff.

Together 14 years, married 11. He's the bees knees 🙂

Today - I went to an art exhibition with my DD, I sent him a couple of pictures of us and told him how good it was.

He sent me a reply saying he loved me and was glad we were having a good time.

Together 20 years, married for 15.

All very mundane. Booked him some train tickets as he is working away next week. Before that it was confirming I'd paid off holiday cottage. Before that it was a picture of a shirt DC1 is going to wear for a christening.

Together 16 years, WhatsApp most days. Occasionally a bit risqué and sometimes one of our in jokes but I'd definitely say it's 90% boring.

Yesterday:

Him: I'm going to <place> for around 7 and then round to Dave's. Will you cater for yourself.
Me: I'll sort my own dinner
Him: Lovely. Me too.

Forgot to say, together 25 years.

Never texted each other. Ever.
