We are together 34 years.

DH>. Bloody hell, their asparagus is £20 a kilo. (Context we had been to the farm shop and paid £9 a kilo the day before 😀)

Before that it was the beginning of April and we were discussing the Heineken Cup.

Tuesday - boring conversation about booking a Tesco delivery

Last Saturday - some pissed up gibberish about the Chemical Brothers (he was at a festival)

Before that - a week ago when he’d been to the barbers and they’d sorted his stray nose and eyebrow hairs out for him.

With a whole load of reminders to give the dog her medication, shopping lists and McDonald’s orders in between

12.30am this morning, me in bed, husband downstairs watching TV....
Me: I can hear banging. Please can you check that the gate is shut.
Him: I've checked, not our gate, it's the neighbours. I've shut it, sweet dreams x

We text daily, so it was yesterday when nmy flight home from a work trip was delayed. I was keeping him updated and we were also texting about other stuff - an extension plan we will call off due to interest rate rises, how the kids are, work on both sides.

We've been married 13 years.

We WhatsApp during the day - both of us have it open in browser so it's more like instant messenger when we were teens. Together for 17 years, married 13.

Last messages were me whining about my commute, him asking me to buy something on my way home, me sending a Britney Spears "slave 4 u" gif and then later on me whining about getting on the peloton.

Mine would be too outing but we WhatsApp rather than text and its daily.

From him last night at 11pm “miss you sleep we’ll gonna be hot tonight”

Agreed we WhatsApp too, the only people I actually text are DB, DM and best friend.

How did the Chemical Brothers sound now? 29-25 years ago we all loved them, saw them live several times as one of our faves.

Yesterday sorting out what he wanted from the takeaway and then offering to come meet me there so I could get away as it took longer than expected and I needed to go to an evening class I had booked.

Last thing I sent was last night, I took a picture of a hot air balloon flying over the garden while he was putting the kids to bed. Together 10 years.

Never, nearly 36 together married for nearly 35. Last time we had a messenger conversation it was to tell me his meds would be ready after ,4pm

Wednesday to tell me he 'was going to hit some balls and to call at his folks for a brew and not to lock him out' and that he had fed the dog. Then yesterday asking whether i had fed the dog. Been together 14 yrs.
