We are together 34 years.

DH> Heading to Waitrose do we need anything ?

No1 Peru chocolate please. My guilty pleasure with my only coffee of the day when I wake up, (keeper that he is he brings me coffee in bed)

DH>. Bloody hell, their asparagus is £20 a kilo. (Context we had been to the farm shop and paid £9 a kilo the day before 😀)

That was at the beginning of May.

Before that it was the beginning of April and we were discussing the Heineken Cup.

There was a thread earlier where the OP was concerned that the number of texts were being dialled back and less intense..

So just pondering……😎

Me commenting that there was no way we'd be getting our chickenpox covered 9 month old to sleep in her cot that night and she'd end up in our bed, but that she'd been much more chill that evening so must be coming out the other side of the virus.

Together 14 years, married 10 :)

CurlewKate · 24/06/2023 05:14

He sent me a picture of the sweeps from Mary Poppins dancing on the roof. I sent a laughing emoji back. You had to have seen this week's Question Time. Yesterday. Together 40 years.

blutterfly · 24/06/2023 06:11

Together 19yrs, married 11.

me: can you go to DDs concert? I can’t get out of work

him: 👍🏻

We mainly discuss kids logistics, missing dinner items required from the coop or train times.

Occasionally text to request a “seeing to” like a PP (glad I’m not the only one who has to message their partner!)

MyFaceIsAnAONB · 24/06/2023 06:12

Text DH all the time, been together 15 years married 11.

Last texted him 10pm last night while he was asleep next to me - reminder to leave something in porch and porch unlocked as someone collecting something from FB.

Always sending links, kid updates, family logistics, jokes, media, plans etc. Lots of ‘I’m doing the school run and the baby is asleep upstairs’ so he comes up from the office to listen out for her.

About our poorly 6th former who had to drive himself home feeling poorly. I had stalked DS the entire 4 mile journey, but neither ‘confirmed’ he’d actually made it into the house. (You never stop worrying, the worries just change.)
