We are together 34 years.

DH>. Bloody hell, their asparagus is £20 a kilo. (Context we had been to the farm shop and paid £9 a kilo the day before 😀)

That was at the beginning of May.

Before that it was the beginning of April and we were discussing the Heineken Cup.

I text my DH a compliment every 40 minutes.
Sometimes it's "You're a gorgeous hunk of love", "I worship your glistening p3ni5", and the like.
Other times I might say "Your ears are perfectly formed" or "Sing to me tonight, the sound of your tenor thrills me".
At 16:40 today I texted "You were so manly this morning, starting the car".

I worry the magic might be going out of our relationship, he doesn't always reply or just sends a 👍🏼 or 😜

Today. I text him to say thanks for the sexytime on our lunch break and that I loved him, and he replied he loved me more.

Well he was out until a couple hours ago. When he got home we talked about his day visiting an elderly relative, then about the traffic home. I told him what parcels arrived today. I asked him if he liked some tshirts I saw online, we looked at them on his pc and he said he'd have a better look tomorrow when he's not tired. Talked about one of our kids and if they popped in today.
Been together 40 years.

Last text exchange was on Tuesday when I said I’d hung up his washing to dry and I loved him and he replied thanks and he loved me loads.

However, if messenger exchanges count then it would be today. He sent me a video of Facebook (screenshot attached), to which I replied “Dry as a bone if you pulled that sh*t with me 😂😂😂😂 xx” as he knows I hate it when he does daft muscle flexes 🙄

Last night telling me that the (indoor) cats had darted out the door at the same time and were a nightmare to catch alone and was I free for a chat (I’m away for a month). lots of heart and cat emojis.

DH and I yesterday had a text convo about how all my birthday cupcakes had been stollen at work. I was gutted.

Before that it was 16/06, talking about wanting takeaway pizza (we didn't get it though).

Tuesday and Wednesday this week, in the second exciting exchange I was upstairs... He hates shouting up and down the stairs so will always text 😁

It was mostly me moaning to DH about kids in the street using our wall as a seat while throwing something at the bedroom window of our downstairs neighbour's son. Then an update later after I had walked the dog to let him know it was water balloons and they'd thrown them at our stuff too and knocked things over so yet again we would have to tidy up the driveway.

Tbh I'm getting fed up of these kids. We didn't have any trouble until these neighbours moved in and these kids are always there annoying her son and damaging our property. So far they've broken our wooden garden chairs, our barbecue, part of our fire pit, a can of outdoor paint for painting the chairs and the matching table, they keep knocking a loose block off our wall so they can sit there and until I fixed our broken driveway gates they were constantly running through our front garden and setting our dogs off. Going by the huge amount of broken polystyrene in our driveway they've been coming in again. We're now looking into security cameras.
