Even if they did tell the girl she was crazy for believing she was a boy/cat/cow, however they did it, it’s still kinder than indulging it. Perhaps if adults were brutally honest then the kids wouldn't have to be.

The teacher didn't deal with the bullying though. She made it a thousand times worse, especially now that Fluffy's gender identity is being discussed in the national media.

Real life is not some theoretical essay written for a gender studies MA! Immense harm has been done to teenage girls particularly in the last few years due to the utter nonsense taught to them in school by teachers. Because of the position teachers are in many of their students have swallowed these lies hook, line and sinker. It’s one of the reasons for the epidemic of mental health problems. In my DDs year several of them suddenly identified as trans - they had a particularly charismatic PSHE teacher. Many were also self-harming. One ended up in a mental institution due to the stress of not being sure of their true identity. One left school as a trans man. The school was keen to accelerate all gender confusion and wanted to change names without parental permission. Teenage girls are vulnerable and were not being safeguarded in my opinion. This is the reality. They were victims of an academic social experiment.

You dont think kids will see the hypocrisy in being " dealt with " for bullying when being gaslit and forced to comply with a completely false reality is abuse in itself.

The school has zero leg to stand on. This will be the downfall of schools. Kids aren't stupid. They will have lost all respect for everyone involved and that school will have bigger issues with behaviour/discipline etc than 2 girls allegedly calling another girl crazy because she thinks she's a cat.

We don’t know what happened just before the recording started and I completely agree it’s harmful. The 13 year old girls did exceptionally well to articulate against some lies from the teacher but they are not immune to feeling frustrated by those lies.

It just shows how crazy all this is. Most of the adults in charge have lost the plot. As regards 5 year old cars or dragons, adults are clearly only playing along to humour a child in their make believe world. We know it’s not real. But with trans animals and moons some on here, particularly educators, they want us and teenagers to actually go along with complete and utter nonsense. The kids are just laughing at the adults, using trans to disrupt every bodies education, and seeking attention. They should be made do detention and write 500 times that humans are not Cats or moons. Funny how of anyone actually believe that kid was a cat they'd not be in school they'd be lying in the sun on the windowsill scrounging food from neighbours having left a headless mouse fir their owner. The mere act of sending them to a school in human clothes proves the identity can be dropped when it suits ( bet the parents don't wanna have to look after her at home all day and empty litter trays filled with human waste) and yet kids are bullied and threatened to pay along ?

Exactly! It's another version of the tactic of shouting "can you tell me what a woman is?" at politicians and then triumphantly going "Ha ha! You hate women!!" when they're confused.

I'd take being tactless over being enabled indulged and lied to any day of the week. Ideally its better coming from someone who cares but clearly all those who should be saying something arent so the fact its left to tactless teens is on the adults tbh.

Absolutely. One thing me and my friends can count in with eachother is that we tell the truth even if we don't think its what they want to hear. If I look like shit, an outfit makes me look.fat or I'm being dick they will tell me.and vice versa.

Myself I don't lie. I omit or occasionally slip to sex based pronouns by accident because pronouns are meant to be an unconscious choice not something that you have to think about. Often I'll avoid dealing with the individual because accusations of trans phobias can be literally anything .
I then go home and curse the (usually teen girls) parents for leading them down a path not dissimilar to fgm with a healthy dose of homophobia.
