Is it fraudulent to not declare an existing mortgage in another country when you apply for one in the UK?

@Testina not burying my head at all, I wish I could. Thanks for all of your advice.

Clearly burying your head look how many years have passed, still not divorced,still not in a good financial position, still not in a stable position for your kids all the paper works etc that have not been done

@Caelan2018 the back story was irrelevant. Either it was or it wasn't fraudulent iyswim. I say that kindly.

The back story is very relevant as to why it matters in your current situation. You've been told clearly, and ignored, that whether or not it was fraudulent depends what the questions were on his actual paperwork, facts that you don't have. It seems like you've poured a lot of energy into your anger with him, instead of into separating ties to him. That's a bad use of your time. Start thinking about what's in your best interests (divorce) and act accordingly. You've had good advice about getting him off the deeds and that you ought to be thinking of the other property as a marital asset you can profit from. None of that advice would be "relevant" to whether fraud was committed, but I hope you see the value in putting yourself first now.

Curious, have you notified the mortgage company that he’s no longer living in the property and had absconded?

But not curious enough to read all the OP’s posts?

It can take years in Ireland to get a divorce. Leave the op alone ffs.

Divorce takes 5 years in Rep of Ire, if both parties submit their paperwork (before 2019)
As the OP has repeatedly said her ex hasn't been contactable for the last number of years.

@LadyJ2023 I don't think you're a real lady are you 😉

I could not find him for years.

Actually divorce takes a minimum of 5 years here. I know this, it took me 9.
