To sneak alcohol into a concert ?

Going to a concert tonight in a large stadium
Prices are extortionate
Your looking at £10 for a gin
I have a foldable wine bottle holder which I plan on putting gin in and putting it in back of jeans
Buying lemonade from inside with a glass than adding my own gin
Would you do it ?

I don't blame you for trying. Alcohol or not, the prices and the queues are usually terrible. Was at a gig last week for 6 hours and even to get water the queue was a hour. I had a cereal bar down my jeans too as wasn't queuing up for bloody pasties and chips and wouldn't last that long without food as get shaky.

Oh do stop with the sanctimonious pearl clutching. It's not unusual to want a drink at a big event and to not want to pay extortionate prices

This reminds me of all the school leavers' proms I've helped at! Teenagers have ingenious ways of concealing alcohol 😉

Best place in my experience is where some trousers with wide bottoms, then tape it around your leg just below the knee, they never pat that far down

Honestly, you would want to be DESPERATE for a drink to tape it to your legs and stuff refilled Capri Suns into your bra.

This is only acceptable behaviour if you are about 17. For an adult, it is tacky and cheap. Not a good look.

Better still, clown shoes. Could fit more miniatures in.

Empty refillable capri suns from Amazon popped in your boots with a flare legging or trouser over, go to a male security guard so they can’t search you.

also helps to have as big a bag as allowed so they focus on rooting through that

Luckily my friends all do the same so we're scruffy, tacky and classless together. But scruffy, tacky and classless with about £40 spare at the end of the night 😬

Worst person I know for this was a Director, she was a millionaire and used to take a bottle of wine in a gift bag to restaurants. I once had to pretend it was my birthday and got a free dessert from the waiter aswell as a couple of glasses of her wine under the table 🤣 i miss working with her 😔

I have friends who see this as a challenge when going to festivals etc. They can afford to buy the drinks and would if they weren't so extortionate, but after trying it once, they now enjoy the fun of finding creative ways to get in.

In the bra is a regular one but they've also made false pockets in bags and use blood bags in the lining of clothes/fancy dress costumes.

last gig I went to they had a 2 second peak in my handbag and let me through in reality I could have snuck in anything that fit in my glasses case as they didnt check (that and my ID/cards was all that was in my bag).

My poor DH had an almost romantic encounter with the guy that patted him down extremely thoroughly though. I had to wait like 5 minutes for him to come through (tbf it wasn't just him the guy was checking every nuck and cranny of every man passing through).

Last time I went out with my mam who was very clearly visably disabled they waved her straight through. She had a massive bag (has to carry lots of medications etc...) and was visably carrying a big water bottle. They simply just point sheepishly at the water bottle and said 'is that for your condition?' and she said 'I use it to take my pills' and then sent us straight on through water bottle and all without searching anything. I don't think they dared do anything else.

That bra holds a full bottle! Wear it under a clown costume and on a pair of stilts and you'll have half a bar!
