To be intrigued what Holly is really like

For so long I thought she was really lovely (from seeing her on tv etc)
Then I read some things on here and other sites over the years about her not being that nice and now the way things have gone over recent events with P.S, it makes her be seen in a different way.
So, what is she really like I wonder, it’s so hard to see her as anything other that lovely or want her to be anything other than lovely and I don’t know why 🤷🏻‍♀️

Her TV persona is miles away from her real personality, she’s an utter cow as soon as the cameras are off. I have that on very good authority from someone who’s been in the studio with her over many years.

And Martin Frizell is also a nasty price of work. And they’ve all covered up for each other over the years because they’re all as bad as each other.

Well I never had an issue with her until her little speech on This Morning made me squeamish. The whole sigh at the beginning and “are you okay?” To the audience.

I don’t believe for one minute that she wasn’t aware of the affair. Even if it was just an affair with a younger guy as opposed to a whole grooming concern, she knew! She might know have thought of it as that big a deal but she still knew something happened between them. It’s all so fake and I’ve gone off her completely now.

I agree op, I think she probably was quite nice and genuine but success and money has probably made her think she's better than most people and she can treat people like shit.
I think her and P.S's time was up a long time ago, they should of quit while they were ahead.

Yes, I was wondering that too. You don't see them together much now. Would love to be a fly on the wall with Fearne discussing this saga, at home.

Lots of women are like that, you see them hugging other women and full of smiles then when the other women have their back turned, the fake is moaning and being nasty about them, many people are stressful fakes.

She isn't a very good actress if that monologue is anything to go by 🤣. I imagined she was probably one of those people who puts it on for the camera, she gives off mean girl vibes. I thought this way before all this.

She doesn’t give the time of day to anyone when the cameras are off. It makes for a horrible atmosphere on set. It’s the equivalent of being in an office with the same people everyday and there’s a person in that room who is rude, dismissive and won’t speak to you unless the boss is watching.

*but in that office your supposed to work as a team to get the work done.

How does she mange a family, a house keeper and nanny?

I really think that most people aren't as nice as the persona they put on publicly, especially at work.

She’s the sort of woman that managed to beat out more qualified woman to one of the most sought after presenting slots on TV and has clung into that job despite evidence she knew about events that caused her much more qualified co presenter to resign.

I think that tells you all you need to know.

Someone who works with Holly told me years ago that she (and Phil) are cold, rude and dismissive of all the crew. Full of themselves and not nice people at all.

Its her job to be nice when the cameras roll. I'm pretty sure that most people on telly who come across as nice, can be total arses off screen 🤔

I've socialised in the same circles as Holly over the years. One of my good friends knows her well and I've been to a few dinners/girls nights/bbqs etc where she's been there. I absolutely cannot claim to be friends with her or know her very well and obviously I don't know what she's like on TM

BUT I have always found her to be genuine, sincere, interesting to talk to and she seems to take a real interest in people. She always remembers details from the last time she met me and seems mildly obsessed with my dog which I always take as a good sign of someone's personality!

She is guarded about anything 'showbiz' and changes the subject if someone oversteps in their questions but is always polite about it. She also has quite a self deprecating sense of humour which I like

As I said, I can't claim to know her well but I feel I've met her enough times that it doesn't seem to be an act

I agree the monologue was awful and clearly choreographed and scripted but I imagine she was sort of caught between a rock and a hard place.

I know a lot of people don’t like a certain gossip website but my eyes were certainly opened when reading her thread (and definitely the multiple threads about her ex co host)

And to answer a few pp’s no she doesn’t speak to Fearne now. Apparently Fearne’s clean living lifestyle didn’t align to Holly’s party lifestyle

I used to like her when she was on celebrity juice years ago but can't stand her now. Used to hate that stupid little dance she did on this morning with Phil when people called in for that spin the wheel comp, her voice has got more screechier over the years I think she must think it makes her sound cute but it's annoying as hell. I agree with other pp she's up her own arse and adores herself.
Someone I know used to work for BA on 1st class and business class he met her the once and said how snooty she was. Apparently refused to get in the car that had been sent to get her as it wasn't a luxury, kicked up a right fuss over it.
Nah she not my cup of tea anymore, much prefer Alison Hammond, Josie and Ruth Langsford

Let's face it all these presenter types are actors aren't they .
Not one of them is anywhere near a "normal" person

Is it weird there is so much focus on her and so little on PS? He's the one that's done something wrong.
