Honestly whats this obsession with them?
Couldn't give a toss. Why are people so invested in two people who host a breakfast programme?

Just people on this planet, like we all are.

Me! Never seen this programme. I remember him from kids TV, but wouldn't recognise her if she knocked on my door right now. It's just daytime TV, so not exactly serious media - why are even the "proper" newspapers reporting on it? I guess it could affect ITV's share price, but really....

I think that if he did groom the young man and was allowed to get away with it then it is massive news because it shows how some of these people who are deemed important can get away with atrocious behaviour and because of their status people turn a blind eye. We know this happens in many areas, not just the media but the more it's highlighted the better.

I also understand how important it is for some people to tell the world how they have never seen This Morning because it's so terribly important to let a bunch of strangers know that you're not working class.

They are being used to bury more serious news like the fact the NHS shared patient data with Facebook. They also used to use Meghan Markle in this way before she got sick of it and fucked off. Distraction without caring if it destroys lives.

I find the reports of his behaviour abhorrent, but I haven't ever seen him on TV. I don't watch daytime television and can't remember when I last watched itv, if at all, so until recently, he wasn't someone I was aware of.

What people do care about, are the lengths to which abuse of a minor has been covered up, and a predatory adult has been protected. That people who tired to whistle-blow were silenced in pretty appalling ways. And that zero lessons have been learnt from Saville.

But you - in your ignorance - are definitely the superior one….

you do understand that people work shifts….some work weekends and have days off during the week….some people even have days off or work part time

You don’t care that a powerful man is under suspicion of grooming and then having an affair with a teenager and that many people realised what was going on, complained and they were removed from the tv programme?

It’s a good job there are people who do care about safeguarding.
