To think that Phillip Schofield is a fantastic example of a complete and utter narcissist?

His behaviour over the last week has given me no doubt. To be honest I’ve never really liked him and found him incrediably rude, smug and generally obnoxious but the brass neck he has displayed since the story about him and Holly’s falling out has shocked even me. The statement he released was a not so thinly veiled thread towards Holly and ITV. His refusal to stand aside or even take a break and lie low for a bit shows he completley lacks any sense of shame. Now he’s starting to play the mental health card when there’s fuck all wrong with him other than an out of control ego and an unhealthy interest in barely legal young men..

Also his eyes. They are completley cold and dead.

I do wonder if he had (allegedly of course...) groomed an underage girl rather than boy the reaction would have been different. He has (allegedly) done numerous questionable things yet been protected both by those who worked with him closely ie HW and ITV, it's bizarre. He isn't even that great a presenter, if he had any integrity he would have left once the info from the super injunction started leaking rather than clinging on and trying to take others down with him. Even without (allegedly) not reporting his brother but telling him to just not do it again his actions are (allegedly) gross. He has plenty of money he could have sadly swanned off and not had this additional interest and scrutiny around him.

Let's just wait for the super injunction to come to its end shall we? 😁

Hahaha I was wondering when that would be mentioned! I am amazed at the amount of people that still don’t appear to know what PS is purported to have been doing for many years.

OP "The statement he released was a not so thinly veiled thread towards Holly and ITV"

I'm not seeing any hints of threat?

I'd say grooming a young boy is illegal, which he has done, but sure, let him carry on.

He only covered up his brothers paedophilia too but hey, let him get on with right?!

If you have evidence of him grooming a young boy you should really report it to the police rather than gossip about it on here.

Meixo · 21/05/2023 21:19

The clues are almost everyone he's worked with can't stand him call him a bully.

Ah bless you sweet summer child.

Rhub · 21/05/2023 21:21

If there was an NDA in place and the guy went public anyway, what recourse would there be for him?

Iwasafool · 21/05/2023 21:22

Pickledmeg · 21/05/2023 21:20

No just someone who would go to the police if I knew a child was being abused. I'm amazed at so many people who know all about this and not doing anything about it.

I cant decide if you think you are being clever by making a snide comment or are a bit hard of understanding?!

It's well documented what he done, do you really believe he's a delightful and misunderstood man?!?!

No wonder so many paedos get away with what they do when people around children are so easily groomed 😳

SilentParrot · 21/05/2023 19:37

I don't know if he's an actual narcissist but I'd imagine years of being an ITV golden boy, cosseted and protected by the execs and adored by millions of viewers could bolster one's confidence to an obnoxious degree, to the point where you think you're untouchable.

I have this theory that fame at an early age, like trauma , freezes a person's emotional development and makes it hard to grow and change into a rounded and mature individual . Just my personal theory based on what I have seen as I have gone through life. I had a relative through marriage who achieved a considerable degree of fame and wealth in their late teens and early twenties and seemed to be trapped at this stage of their development

Viviennemary · 21/05/2023 21:25

I dont like him at all but don't see why he should be hounded out of his job by Holly Willoughby. So nasty.

Yet Philip didnt, and here you are, defending him....

She should go as well. Just as bad by covering up his filthy secrets too

Probably purposely ignoring it because they don't want to accept they were deceived by a friendly childs presenter/day time tv presenter.

One poster on here refuses to believe it because they believe he wouldn't have had a long career if it was true. I mean, it's not like a tv company has ever protected a paedo is it?!

Shame Philip didn't when his brother told him what he was up to then! It's well documented and people are well aware of what he has (allegedly) done, the super injunction will expire soon and then the media can report on it and hopefully he will be held to account for his actions.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy rather bucks that theory.

Butchyrestingface · 21/05/2023 21:36

Back in 1987, wee me predicted he'd come to a bad end when he defected from the CBBC broom cupboard for Going Live!

He didn't bloody listen but I bet now he wishes he had. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Frances0911 · 21/05/2023 21:37

Yes he is, along with his ex BFF Holly Willoughby. She gets first place as the Queen of narcissists.

What is it with This Morning, that programme seems to be a breeding place for narcissism.

Allhailkingcharlie · 21/05/2023 21:53

I actually thought he was a really good presenter!! Waits to be flamed...

Zenana · 21/05/2023 21:58

I've not seen Hopkins for years and now she's popping up over this?

Agree entirely, don't watch the show so I don't even notice.

Twistyripple · 21/05/2023 22:03

What is he actually supposed to have done. What is this injunction that people keep referencing 🤔

SynchOrSwim · 21/05/2023 22:10

How do people know there is a super injunction and when it ends?

ChrisPPancake · 21/05/2023 22:14

I'm just loving the editing here (and yes my mind totally did fill in the blank Grin)

To think that Phillip Schofield is a fantastic example of a complete and utter narcissist?
