Official Coronation Quiche - UPF

Just had a look on royal.co.uk - I'm a bit peeved that the recipe for quiche uses '1 or 2 block of ready-made shortcrust pastry'.
Not only is this dearer thank making it yourself, I'm pretty sure its a UPF. Certainly not clean eating - there was me hoping to make a wholemeal version, as I much prefer wholemeal flour and its obv healthier too.
I slightly despair - on this momentous occasion, can't we just be encouraged to do it properly. Its not that hard!!!

Literally nobody wants to actually eat a bean and spinach quiche. Pretty sure Charlie and Milbags are just trolling us 😂😂😂 ‘Let’s see how far we can push the plebs!’

In fact I just followed that link to the Royal website and at the end of the recipe there it says: "BBC Good Food shares suitable substitutes for ingredients in the Coronation Quiche for those with dietary”

It does not!

Are you not capable of searching up a wholemeal recipe for yourself? How pathetic.

That is really weird. The first time I followed the
https://www.royal.uk/the-coronation-quiche link that Welshwabbit gave above, I swear there was that text at the end of the recipe pointing to the BBC Good Food. I actually copied the text from there. However, I have just been back to check and no mention now.

Oh well. If you search for Coronation Quiche I still think the BBC Good Food is the first one to come up. Was for me anyway.
