To consider two dishwashers?

Instead of a cutlery drawer/plate cupboard?

Not much thought has gone into this but why not have a dirty DW and a clean one, then I wouldn't have to put cutlery away?

Please talk me out of it before I do something stupid.

It seems a bit excessive but it looks like they can't sell us anything else for kitchens so now started on having two of everything (see also two sinks, two ovens, two fridges).

You would still need a cutlery drawer/ crockery storage because not everything gets used every day.

This. I really can’t see the need for 2 dishwashers unless you have a very large family.

This could be the laziest thing I’ve ever heard 🙄

Nothing wrong with making your life easier.

I have fisher paykel dishwasher drawers which are brilliant. Unless we have a big party nothing ever sits in the side. I could never go back to one dishwasher so totally recommend but you do still need to empty as you use different things.

For it to work then one dishwasher would have to be big enough to hold all of your plates, cups, glasses, bowls, oven trays and cutlery.

I think this about laundry. Have a room just for laundry - washing, drying, hanging, just get your clothes from there instead of all the bloody carting around the house to different rooms

I would have to actually put this in my bedroom to solve my floordrobe problem.

@SageRosemary
we just use the dishdrawer as a normal dishwasher too, rather than 'storage'. However when we first bought it we had a tiny kitchen and the intention was to use it for storage - but it never happened, it wasn't really practical/necessary.
