It happens all the time. There was one yesterday very early before the Diane Abbott letter had gone mainstream that was all AIBU that Diane Abbott is trying to defeat the labour party. It means nothing to someone who hasn't read what you have read

What then happens is a load of people asking why/what have they done.

It is irritating as well as stupid to assume everyone knows the backstory to what you are posting about - especially when the thread title suggests it might be about a neighbour/stalker/random member of the public.

Please stop doing this and just give a tiny bit of context.

It's just a thread, same as many others, it'll interest some and not others. No need for all the snide comments about people needing to get a life because they have an interest in something that others don't. Just go read threads you do have an interest in instead of the pile on.

So, in regards to the OP, I don't watch TM but have seen some of the posts about PS/HW and do find it interesting that she's only now trying to distance herself.

Anyone who is watching This Morning today, does it seem like there's an atmosphere or is it business as usual between PS and HW?

PS makes my flesh crawl. I literally cannot bear to look at him and have never seen Good Morning TV or whatever it's called. Like a PP I consider it a life achievement that I have never seen it and don't give the tiniest shit either way. If he's a crim, I hope he gets what's coming to him.

Don't you ever watch films, TV series, read books etc? Or have you never read a book or watched tv in your life, too busy discovering the huge magical world?

I love corrie and emmerdale and try to keep up with them - I also have a professional job, friends, family, have travelled the world, have a hobby I very much enjoy.... You can like different things while still having 'a life'

The point is that if the OP had bothered to put Holly's name in the title then we could have. The title was deliberately ambiguous so that it could have been about a school mum, an OW, a work issue etc.

I don’t generally watch TM either but the Holly/Phil dynamic is interesting.

I lost all respect for her when he came out. Bearing in mind Phil has a wife whose life had just been ripped to shreds publicly, Holly was simpering over Phil in the interview and asking him what his plans were for dating and if there was anyone special etc. it was a real slap in the face for Phil’s wife, incredibly disrespectful and inappropriate.

Holly isn’t just Schofield’s colleague, she’s made it very clear that she’s his bestie and confidante.

They both went down in my estimation when they queue jumped for QEII. The queue jumping was a bit shit but what I found worse was the lies they told afterwards and the way they both treated the public as if we were stupid. There was a real arrogance and entitlement in their attitude, and that primarily came from Holly.

There was a thread recently about what celebrities are really like and someone knows Holly in real life - they said she’s like one of the mean girls at school. Having caught glimpses of what’s behind her sugary sweet mask I can believe it.

Schofield is a dodgy creep and I don’t think Holly will carry on being his bestie if his ship sinks. I think she knew exactly what he’s been up to but didn’t care - unless it hurts her image/career.

I thought that everyone has known he was gay since the 1980s and his wife was a beard. Are we now saying it was common knowledge but was also kept from her for 30+ years?

I don't live in the UK. We watch UK tv via a completely legal satellite dish.

Lots of people have Humax (or similar) boxes which receive all the freeview channels. They are widely available and not illegal. You can buy one in a supermarket.

You can't get any of the catch-up services e.g. BBCiplayer unless you have a reliable VPN (virtual private network) but this is where it becomes more of a grey area.

I would be more than happy to pay the BBC license fee to access iPlayer, but you can't do this if you are resident abroad. BBC are missing a trick here. They could make a fortune!

I thought there were rumours that she was a massive coke head. If he's any kind of evil supervillain worth his salt, PS will have the scoop on every foot HW has put wrong privately over the years. And so we'll never know the real deal as everyone scrambles to save their own skin before they all go down together in a flaming ball of mediocrity.

Then I read it but didn't understand what this issue is and still it's not clear to me.

My bigger point is that it is irritating, time wasting for others as well as small minded to create a post of that type without giving a steer as to the issue. & rude really because you know that you are doing all of that consciously.

The PS brother stuff has been and gone. The rumours about PS are old news and nothing to do with her.

You don't just not turn up to work because you don't like/are pissed off with/suspicious of the behaviour of a colleague. That's not how employee/employer contracts work.
