@CallieQ there have long been rumours, apparently suppressed by an injunction and non disclosure agreement, that his coming out was to deflect from a story about to break that allegedly would detail alleged inappropriate relationships with young men. With his brother being sent down, they've resurfaced and are all over social media.

While the French are on the streets protesting so they get a better standard of living, it seems a large number of people in this country are concentrating their minds on whether a particular person appears on a daytime tv show or not. 😩

I didn't say it was old news. I said 'on what appears to be old news' - because the only person that has actually given any decent clue on what it's about said it's about old rumours that have resurfaced.

And you think Holly is involved with Phillip having dodgy dalliances with young men? That's the real story here 🤣🤣🤣

She's his colleague. If your colleague was subject to similar rumors, would you expect people to talk about your involvement?

I watched the first episode in 1988. Loved it with R and J and Dr Chris Steel and of course the lovely, wise Denise Robertson. Found it all essential viewing. Nowadays I wouldn’t have it on. That insincere simpering between H and Schofield. The fakeness of it all. He’s a PROVEN fake isn’t he. Course she’ll cling on. Selling her soul to the devil for air time even if it is next to him. He makes my skin crawl. He came across as fake when he was on bbc with the gopher

I understand that people are interested, but I have found all morning tv/news programmes to be utterly puerile, offering the least worthy content, presented by the most annoying twats to walk the earth. I am not a high flyer, dropped out before I got a degree, worked in local government for a pittance and am now retired. I am interested in lots of things, history, art, gardening etc.
I just don't understand why people are remotely interested in these faux 'scandals', when Philip Schofield 'came out' I was amazed only because I had always assumed he was gay, and it was not a secret.

Whether Holly Willoughby turns up at work is of no interest.
I listen to the radio if I am not happy in my homely silence.
