Someone's taken credit for anonymous treat!

Quick silly one but not sure what to do.

Friend has had a hard time so I've sent them a cream tea type surprise treat. Left the card anonymous but she finds it difficult to receive without reciprocating and I wanted her to have something just for her with no strings, to cheer her up.

She posts it on social media, another Friend (I don't know) comments, saying enjoy, glad you like, you deserve it type thing

My friend says ahhhh was it you, youre amazing

Other friend says wink wink it's anonymous so I guess you'll never know

Now, to me there alluding it was then. Taking all the bloody credit. I know I didn't send it for credit or even thanks but I'm a little pissed off!

Because she never actually said she sent it, friend isn't going to say or do anything, it would make things far too awks

And I certainly won't say anything. I wouldn't put cheeky cow or my friend in that position

Think she may just take off the tag.

She's just replied with an, okay love.

Feels a bit anticlimactic but probably for the best 😝

She's just text my friend.

I do agree the outcome is for the best, hope your friend enjoys her gift.

The worker friend does need to own up on FB though, it's not fair otherwise.

I may invite myself to my friends and have half of hers. I can't stop thinking about clotted cream.

I nearly sent her a breakfast box, all croissants, brioche and stuff but double back and got the cream tea. Good shout I think

She knows she's been rumbled. My guess is she's a MN lurker. Or someone you both know is, and guessed and tipped her off.

Funny how she couldn't text until late afternoon, but was able to post on FB in the meantime.

I think your friend should untag her and tag you as well. Creamy Fucker can do as she wants with all of her comments and emojis
