Should be able to know how to operate a dishwasher?
New colleague didn't know how to do it. She stacked it correctly but was then standing around looking stumped. I had to intervene and help.
She is 41!

I wasn’t aware operating a dishwasher was an indication of how well you could do your job….

Maybe it should be added as a question in the interview process.Grin

I’ve never had one, so wouldn’t have a clue. I find some microwaves ridiculously complicated, too.

You sound a little small minded to me! Who cares whether she knows how to operate a dish washer or not. Perhaps she chooses to focus her time on more useful things!!

Are you really that far up your own backside to think that everyone knows how to use a dishwasher?! There are still people out there that don’t have them in their houses for a number of reasons. I’m absolutely astounded that you would think this way in the first place! Have a word with yourself and open your eyes to the rest of the population, not just those stuck in your own little bubble.
