Are there any clinical guidelines, or perhaps a safe upper limit of how many Creme Eggs an adult human person can eat each day?

The limit does not exist.

Ineedwinenow · 05/04/2023 15:07

I ate a box of 5 the other day and felt fine ( and felt I could have eaten more) so crack on

CremeEggy · 05/04/2023 15:08

It would be public spirited of you to research further...

They come in packs of 5 or 6 so I would assume that’s a daily dosage?

TokyoSushi · 05/04/2023 15:19

I can eat a box of 5, no issue.

I have given up chocolate for lent this year. I have not lost 1lb. It's been the saddest run up to Easter I've ever known - never again!

SallySailor · 05/04/2023 15:19

Safe limit? Not sure you want the answer !

Ideal dosage for promoting inner peace and happiness: Ingest when required - stop if feeling nauseous until nausea subsides

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 05/04/2023 15:22

Are we talking about prescription dosage (which always errs on the safe side) and stands at around 1.3, or the 'street' dosage, which is a little more liberal at 'until your behaviour becomes something the neighbours would notice' and is around 7.6 or when side effects become too much?

Trixielo · 05/04/2023 15:23

Side note - seems there is a lot less yellow yolk now compared to when I was a kid…

Hesma · 05/04/2023 15:24

🤢🤢🤢

gogohmm · 05/04/2023 15:25

A box of 5 resulted in terrible acid reflux all night, I never learn my lesson!

WestminsterAbbey · 05/04/2023 15:27

At school 40 years i ate 17 snd won a competition

today they are smaller and palm oil shite . Wouldn’t eat even 1

RobertaFirmino · 05/04/2023 15:28

Goodness me, I would be absolutely STUFFED after half. In any case, Cadburys is not proper chocolate. I much prefer a single square of Peruvian organic, fair trade, single origin with a high raw cacao content. Las Expensividad y Poncias is particularly divine. Just a single square takes care of any cravings I might have for a full six months.

YABVU to be eating creme eggs rather than caramel eggs which are superior in every way since Mondelez ruined creme eggs.

Twisting · 05/04/2023 15:35

Whatever happened to toffemallow eggs? Now they were good.

My kids are appalled that one creme egg constitues 1 pudding. They think at least 2.

RicherThanYews · 05/04/2023 15:35

I thought a box of 5 was half a serving but I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

WestendVBroadway · 05/04/2023 15:35

@TokyoSushi , I have also given chocolate up for lent. However I do allow myself a cheeky piece on Sundays, as according to my very devout Catholic mother, as the Sundays in lent don't count we can break our fast.

Put them in the freezer. Slows down the consumption rate slightly, and takes two or three bites to get to the squish, like it did when we were little... (they were definitely bigger then!)

Pure greed. I grate my single square of Las Expensividad y Poncias and have one grating per year.

I hate Creme Eggs. I used to love Cadbury mini-eggs, but fear they might not be as good as they were so haven't tried them for a while.
