Either your DS looks exactly like Paula Yates, or you've forgotten to put the pic up

I cried for ages when DS1 had a buzz-cut (under his father's supervision at the barbers) when I was heavily pregnant with DS2.

fingerwoman · 13/02/2008 21:22

hana · 13/02/2008 21:22

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 13/02/2008 21:23

pics?

cadelaide · 13/02/2008 21:24

sorry, nag

Twiglett · 13/02/2008 21:27

he cut all his hair off?

rather than just hack a piece off?

if he cut it all off do you think he might have been trying to tell you something

I mean, I think the pic with the long hair looks incredibly yummy .. but maybe he wants short hair?

onebatmother · 13/02/2008 21:27

Oh Paula. I feel your pain. The day ds says 'Mum, I don't want to look like a freakin' girl' is the day I dread. Pics on profile page.

devonsmummy · 13/02/2008 21:27

not a bad job for a 5 year old !

Twiglett · 13/02/2008 21:27

oh and you are definitely NOT unreasonable to cry about it

ja9 · 13/02/2008 21:28

i think he looks great.

cadelaide · 13/02/2008 21:28

Did he do that himself?
My god, the boy's a hairdressing genius.

Twiglett · 13/02/2008 21:28

he is definitely telling you he wants short hair

fingerwoman · 13/02/2008 21:29

YANBU
I cut ds1's hair and then cried lol. then I did it again. I am very stupid though and we're now letting it grow.

did he just do it for fun or does he not like it long any more?

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 13/02/2008 21:29

hana · 13/02/2008 21:30

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 13/02/2008 21:30

no - for fun - his siblings had been making cards - he found scissors - i told him how good he had been ....and then i SAW!

WallOfSilence · 13/02/2008 21:30

He looks much less like a girl now.

I can see why he did it.

My nephew is called ben & had girly hair, the boys in his class call him Brenda.

stuffitllama · 13/02/2008 21:30

he looks cute!

(histrionics by the way)

TimeForMe · 13/02/2008 21:30

I think he looks lovely! He did a great job he's gorgeous too, you can see his lovely little face now.

devonsmummy · 13/02/2008 21:31

YANBU - i took ds to barbers for the first time last week and was gutted when we came out - he only had a trim

WallOfSilence · 13/02/2008 21:32

stuffitllama That made me giggle.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 13/02/2008 21:32

errrr it did not look like that before a trip to salon at 7.30 pm !

policywonk · 13/02/2008 21:33

Aw, he is very handsome.

I am impressed that your DH was understanding. When I had my haircut hysterics, DP rolled his eyes so hard I could practically hear them revolving.
