Waters broke 14 weeks is there any hope?

I think my waters broke and I'm only 14 weeks along, i was stood in the kitchen and all of a sudden there was a load of bloody liquid like wee but I wasn't weeing. Maternity unit wouldn't see me because I was less than 18 weeks and EPU is shut so they told me to ring 111 who said go to A&E so now I'm sat in A&E.

There is no hope for the baby though right? :( I have had 3 miscarriages and when this one got to 12 weeks and everything looked OK I stupidly began to relax.

Such a difficult situation. EPU is shut which is a travesty. Maternity triage can't see you as it's too early for them to do anything and therefore it's completely inappropriate for you to be there. So instead they're sending a whole midwife to ED to see you. That might not sound significant but in current times finding a whole spare midwife is extremely difficult.

EPU being closed is awful. It should be open 24/7. Even if it's just a bay on a gynae ward set up for triage. It's such an awfully upsetting gap in services. You are now suffering and that's not fair as none of this is your fault. You deserve good, kind, compassionate care and reassurance. You deserve a scan and you deserve answers.

You poor thing. Doesn’t sound good but I’m no expert. I’ve had early pregnancy fears and have a beautiful 11 month old now - it ain’t over til it’s over xxx

If you need to move to a different area to be seen insist on a wheelchair you don't want to be staging up. I really hope all is ok.
