Waters broke 14 weeks is there any hope?

I think my waters broke and I'm only 14 weeks along, i was stood in the kitchen and all of a sudden there was a load of bloody liquid like wee but I wasn't weeing. Maternity unit wouldn't see me because I was less than 18 weeks and EPU is shut so they told me to ring 111 who said go to A&E so now I'm sat in A&E.

There is no hope for the baby though right? :( I have had 3 miscarriages and when this one got to 12 weeks and everything looked OK I stupidly began to relax.

Hello everyone

I have had my scan, baby is fine!! Which is obviously great news but I think I am just in shock I honestly thought there was no hope.

I have been admitted to the EPU for monitoring and they think what happened yesterday was just a water leak rather than losing everything and they can't really explain why and that the bleeding this morning was just because of them swabbing my cervix yesterday.

Thank you so much to everyone on here and fingers crossed everything stays OK

My wife was leaking amniotic fluid from 5 months; doctor told us that she had probably had a miscarriage (her second) and we went for a scan to confirm the loss. But there she was, our daughter, happy as Larry, heart still beating like a trooper. 3 months bed rest later and an emergency c section she was born. She's now 30 and the apple of my eye
