Waters broke 14 weeks is there any hope?

I think my waters broke and I'm only 14 weeks along, i was stood in the kitchen and all of a sudden there was a load of bloody liquid like wee but I wasn't weeing. Maternity unit wouldn't see me because I was less than 18 weeks and EPU is shut so they told me to ring 111 who said go to A&E so now I'm sat in A&E.

There is no hope for the baby though right? :( I have had 3 miscarriages and when this one got to 12 weeks and everything looked OK I stupidly began to relax.

Oh bless you. My eldest dd had the most scary bleeding and fluid loss at roughly the same time. It was so frightening and everyone was sure she'd lost the baby.....He's now nearly 7!

Your last update if fantastic news! I think you might need to be preparing for alot of time in bed over the coming months! A friend of mine had similar issues and she just had to stay in bed. We laugh about it now and think it may explain why her healthy son is so rubbish at getting up!

I'm so happy for you! I've been checking in on this thread with everything crossed for you. I've been through recurrent miscarriages and the fear of 'is everything going to be ok with this one'. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Such great news.

I have had my scan, baby is fine!! Which is obviously great news but I think I am just in shock I honestly thought there was no hope.

I have been admitted to the EPU for monitoring and they think what happened yesterday was just a water leak rather than losing everything and they can't really explain why and that the bleeding this morning was just because of them swabbing my cervix yesterday.
