Waters broke 14 weeks is there any hope?

I think my waters broke and I'm only 14 weeks along, i was stood in the kitchen and all of a sudden there was a load of bloody liquid like wee but I wasn't weeing. Maternity unit wouldn't see me because I was less than 18 weeks and EPU is shut so they told me to ring 111 who said go to A&E so now I'm sat in A&E.

There is no hope for the baby though right? :( I have had 3 miscarriages and when this one got to 12 weeks and everything looked OK I stupidly began to relax.

Hello everyone

I have had my scan, baby is fine!! Which is obviously great news but I think I am just in shock I honestly thought there was no hope.

I have been admitted to the EPU for monitoring and they think what happened yesterday was just a water leak rather than losing everything and they can't really explain why and that the bleeding this morning was just because of them swabbing my cervix yesterday.

Thank you so much to everyone on here and fingers crossed everything stays OK

Wonderful to hear - I had something very similar happen to me, also after multiple miscarriages. It was a bit of a long road through the rest of the pregnancy, I had to be monitored throughout and I needed a cervical stitch to be safe, but DD is now a wonderful 15 year old. I hope you have the same happy outcome.
