To wonder about the government warning to our phones.

Does anyone know much about this emergency warning thing on our phones. Can't remember the exact day but in April they're going to test it out. Is it fear mongering again. I'm going to switch it off, anyone else.

I was in Greece when they went into lock down and my phone was alerted so switching off your phone will do nothing to can't disable it!

You can switch off emergency alerts in settings. It's an option if you don't want them.

We've now had a warning through from work alerting us to if any victims of domestic violence have hidden phones they're using to plan their escape - and talking us through how to disable it.

It's very possible that someone is going to die as a result of this damned test considering how the most dangerous point in a DV relationship is when you're just about to leave.
