I cry a lot. I know it's not normal, but sometimes I get home from work and the stress and worry from the day makes me cry.

So, what was the last thing you cried at and when?

Thursday at work after a phone call, it wasn't that the caller did something to make me cry, but it was just an overwhelmingly emotional conversation.

Just now when it was confirmed that my current foster cat who I've had for over a year will be going to his new home on Wednesday. Of course I'm delighted that he's got his lovely forever home, but I'm going to miss him so much.

Yesterday. I cry quite frequently at the moment. Mostly it's sheer exhaustion and overwhelming pain from a flare of chronic conditions. But I'm also very emotional generally at present. I go through phases like this

illiterato · 18/03/2023 14:19

Lucy on the piano. Lee and Jenny set me off.

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 18/03/2023 14:22

Yesterday at work when everything went horribly wrong and it was on me to sort it. I think it was the only reaction I could muster after a week of extreme pressure and massive expectations and the overwhelm took me out.

DeathBy1000PipeCleaners · 18/03/2023 14:22

When the cat died, recently. Prior to that it was the news of the death of the Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts. Before that, I can't remember.

I love true crime documentaries. I watched one the other day where the mother was talking about her daughter who had been murdered. She was clearly so broken by it that I shed a few tears.
