In a nutshell:

A group of students identifying as Cats

Demanding litter trays be placed in the school and smearing poo over the walls & toilet seats.

Restricted toilets access to the rest of the students due to this. Parents going batshit on social media about it, the school having to cut the phones because they're getting hounded.

The school is now apparently having to seek legal advice, as this new territory.

There are a load of furries at my dds' school who identify as cats (and other animals). That's absolutely true! They eat on the floor and wear tails. As far as I know there's nothing sexual about it.

‘Furries’ in my DD’s school too. She tells me how they bark at people when you go near them. Obviously they are bullied for this but it doesn’t put them off. Worlds gone mad.

Have never seen/heard any actual evidence of this happening anywhere. Wearing a cat's ears hairband doesn't mean you identify as a cat. And I really seriously doubt (for many reasons) that any school is letting their children eat from the floor

This is a hoax as the link says but some people do identify as cats.

Whilst a bit of sarcasm is appreciated, this is the way disinformation is spread.

A pronoun guide intended to educate Bristol University staff on gender inclusion has divided opinion due to references to ‘catgender’ and ‘emojiself……According to the LGBTA Wiki the guide linked out to, "someone who is catgender may use nya/nyan pronouns". Nya/nyan means “meow” in Japanese. Catgender is also described as someone who "strongly identifies" with cats or other felines or “experiences delusions relating to being a cat or other feline".

This is from the Independent (and it was covered by several other newspapers) in February last year.

The cats should go to the local pound, where they belong. Their owners/parents should take them there. It is unfeasable for students to learn with hoards of cats in the classrooms and in the playground.
The cats need to hear that animals never qualify for social security payments, human health care, driver's licences etc. and that identifying as a cat also has tham not able to apply for council housing. Life is not promising as a cat.
The cats should learn these things and sign with their claws that they understand before being locked in a cage at the pound..
