Students identifying as Cats

In a nutshell:

A group of students identifying as Cats

Demanding litter trays be placed in the school and smearing poo over the walls & toilet seats.

Restricted toilets access to the rest of the students due to this. Parents going batshit on social media about it, the school having to cut the phones because they're getting hounded.

The school is now apparently having to seek legal advice, as this new territory.

Stop here world, I want to get off!

That may be a hoax .. but at my daughters school there is a person in sixth form who identifies as a ... dragon .
I kid you not .
At her friends school there is a girl who identifies as a fox .. and wears a tail .
It's like competitive identification !!

I think it’s a cracking idea. Either you can identify as something you objectively are not or you can’t. If you can identify as a female human when you objectively aren’t, then you should be allowed to identify as a cat, and if you can’t then why can’t you? Let’s have it out, once and for all.

Yes, this entirely. If you willingly get on the ladder at the lower rungs, you have no justifiable way to condemn those who are much higher - and whom you may end up much nearer to before too long.

There's this video where Victoria Derbyshire is 'hosting' a debate between Jane Fae and Emile Ratelband (the Dutchman who says he wants to legally reduce his age by 20 years) - and Jane is saying how ridiculous, absurd and crazy he clearly is; but this simply cannot be: either they are both crazy (although I rather suspect he is trying to make a point) or neither of them are.

I realise that this particular example (in the OP) may be fake, but it really is not far from what a lot of deadly-serious people are actually doing now - including the world's strongest 'baby girl' who is (rightly) in a men's prison, and who was amazingly able to strangle a grown man to death.

This is my daughters school ( I have named changed as not to be outing) and I can confirm this is sadly true.

AFAIK it was a hoax, but it DID go viral last week and spread like wildfire, so that is part is true.

What hasn't been clarified is whether there's any truth behind it at all, but whilst it was doing the rounds on the socials I heard about other cats in more local schools. Furries are a thing and teenagers are often idiots, so...
