I'm very puzzled why no one talks about how hated Camilla was the 80s/90s?? The tabloids absolutely tore her apart. But now she is 'Queen' and we have all conveniently forgotten. I have no personal interest in the royal family, I'm just perplexed.

...Statements such as the ones denying hair extensions or Botox (ie more than one statement issued for trivial issues - but nothing to say about mysogynistic insults against family members).

I’ve explained the Botox one. It wasn’t in response to speculation on wether she gets Botox. It was to state a doctored picture was being used to falsely represent her.

The hair extensions statement was a few years ago but it definitely happened. The point of the Botox statement was that it was in support of Kate Middleton regardless of context.

These are just a couple of many many examples of the Palace issuing statements in support of RF members. So they just didn't prove to support Meghan, the idea they would be 'breaking protocol' by doing so is a nonsense.

'Meghan has trashed her publicly' - name an occasion when she has done this? I am not aware of it. When has either M or H 'trashed' the institution? Criticism does not equate with trashing - except among avid Monarchists who think the Royals can do no wrong.

And Clarkson is an old friend of Camilla, does anyone think he would have published those things if he knew that the new Queen disapproved?

I, personally, still can't stand her and not just because she inserted herself into Chucky & Di's marriage.

She's entitled, out of touch and hasn't ever held down a job.

At least Di worked as a nanny and Kate as a buyer for Jigsaw.
