Eye Colour disagreement

I (brown eyes) think our son has green eyes.

Blue eyed husband thinks they are brown.

In the sunlight they are grey on the outside, brown in the middle.

What do you think?

To add, I think they are definitely not brown. And definitely not blue. So what does that leave?

I'm blue/grey so it's perfectly acceptable to not be wholly definable with one colour

My eyes are chocolate brown, which is why I don‘t think his are brown

They are hazel. Any green/brown combo I think is hazel.

Hazel. My dd has similar eyes. Dh’s are pure brown mine are blue. Dd has ended up with a mixture of brown and green. We joke she has colour changing eyes as some days they’re more brown, some more green.

My eyes are similar, I call them Hazel, but when I'm wearing green clothes they look more green. 3 of my grandparents had blue eyes, 1 brown, my sister and I both ended up with hazel eyes. My children both have blue eyes.

Google hazel eyes and you get a ton of results that look like your son's eyes.
